Hotel Milan Costa Rica

What is the location of the hotel close to the center of San Jose its walking distance, The breakfast is good and so are the staff. The room was very clean and so is the hotel.

I was upset at first because my room didn't have air conditioning, but in San Jose, it was so cold that I slept well and needed to cover up at night.

Clean and comfortable .crisp white sheets . Free breakfast is included and there’s filtered water and coffee available in the lobby. Staff were very helpful when we were trying to sort bus routes out to Tamarindo. We were arriving and leaving from Tig bus station ( bus goes straight to Tamarindo) so it’s a very short walk and so convenient . Very close to the Main Street and plenty of food economical choices around on one street over. Yes there are homeless people about at night but a lot of SanJose has this . We just taxi in and out if it’s nights time Great value for money 24 hr desk too

The room was very clean and the bed very comfort. The staff helped me with anything i needed and they changed me room after asking them if possible (my initial room did not have window, which is really weird). The breakfast (incl) was ok. There is a supermarket and panadería just to the other side of the road. The location is very close to the bus station (carribean) and you can get anywhere with an Uber without spending much (a bit less than 10€ to/from airport).

The neighborhood is bad and it's a bit uncomfortable to walk there at night but Uber is always a good option. My first room did not have window but the staff took care of it. You can hear any noise from other rooms/corridor. The coffee served at the breakfast is bad and of low quality.

- 2 min walk to the main bus station (liberia for us) - breakfast included and good - price value top (65$/2nights) - friendly receptionist very helpful (fix the problem with warm water immediately and we received the room with window as requested when booking)

- the surrounding is very poor, as a couple walking after dark (so around 5pm) seemed okay but not very comfortable. also at arriving we saw security in front of the street with a stick - sad to receive filter coffee in such a great coffee country - very noisy at night, especially between 10pm and 4am , you hear everyone in the hallway and from the street (cars, people talking screamingly ..)

Perfect for our 1st night in Costa Rica. Airport shuttle service was easy to arrange and so convenient and our driver was waiting for us when we arrived. We were getting an early bus from 7-10 terminal the next morning so the location was great - literally a 6 or 7 min walk from the hotel. So convenient having a restaurant in the hotel too which stayed open till 10pm so we could have some food when we arrived.

Not much we didn't like - it was exactly what we needed. It doesn't appear to be in the nicest neighbourhood but felt very safe and did the job!

The over night lady was really helpful. She got us an Uber cheaper than other transports. Also helped with our luggage. She didn’t understand English and vice versa but translate maid up for that.

Little scary at night lots of homeless people around and some not so friendly people. No elevator and with heavy luggage and a/c is on third floor makes it hard getting up the stairs

The hotel is very clean, the location is great for accessing bus terminal 7-10, the breakfast was tasty and included in the price. There are three different options of breakfast, where they prepare for you. Also just across the road is a small convenience store open until 10pm which is useful if you need anything. There is a little restaurant opposite as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Something that we didn't like is the soundproof insulation, which seems non-existent. It is easy to hear when somebody walk past your door, at least from our room.

Small breakfast and coffee included Gringos expecting Ritz for 40 bucks No this is a great clean option close to Jaco bus station , Puerto Viejo bus station coca cola .. etc A place to stay over if your coming or going on bus or to or from airport . 7000 Uber to sjo airport at 12 pm

Hotel fine area after dark not advised to walk take an Uber your a gringo

I can't praise this hotel enough!!! This is my second stay here at Hotel Milan and it was hypnotic! The combination of comfy mattress, clean white sheets, fluffy comforter, large smart tvs, mini fidge and hot water is what makes it special for me! The hotel restaurant is awesome!! The location is awesome! Across the street is convenience/liquor store with all the munchies you will ever need!!! Also, there is a fried chicken place, Pharmacy and many more typical Costa Rican shops within wàlking distance from the Hotel Milan! 💥 For a mid level economy hotel, you should definitely try it! I will always make Milan my go to hotel when I am in San Jose!

It would be nice to have American style of toilet paper!!!!!

It is close to bus stations, so it is very convinient. Girl on the reception was really kind and helpful. Someone wrote that is dodgt area, yes it is, like every where around the world after sunset. Ok, if you are solo travel, and you have doubts, just take the Uber😎

You can hear all the noises in the room, like there is no walls. I could here my neighbour doing the thing😂if you are not jealous you can survive to sleep for one night or two.
