Viva V Samana by Wyndham, A Trademark Adults All Inclusive

The location is Superb. Wisandra at the Marché Restaurant is the best hostess we have ever met. The hotel is very very clean. A good variety in restaurants.

Very very bad Wifi connection. Even a text message via WhatsApp takes sometimes a few minutes to send. A lot of power outages during the day. Warm water supply is really a problem.

The hotel is very pretty, not very big, in quiet area, clean and very nice, few hundreds meters away are two nice, wide beaches. Personel of the hotel is great. Soon after arrival my friends and I wanted to cancel our stay due to the noise but they moved us to bungalows that were much quieter. After this, our stay was great. The food was all right.

The hotel itself is very noisy with noisy guests. The rooms overlook the common area with lobby and.. the discotheque. Opened every evening till 1am. There are also frequent live music events in the evening. Everything, like, 50m from the room. We were in the hotel during Easter holiday and there were lots of local people, each group with their own speaker with loud, disco music. After few days we were fed up. The area where bungalows are, and where we finally moved, were much quieter and after Easter hotel became more quiet so we stayed and enjoyed the rest of the stay. Other then noise everything was perfect.

I had a great time there. From my room to the food to the animation, everything was good! the animation team is awesome! The hotel is well maintained and the beach is also very nice! I highly recommend walking along the beach on both sides, you will find cute places to hang out and other very nice beaches ;)

I would not recommend renting a car with the hotel. it was expensive and I got a crappy taxi. the shuttle to/from the airport is also expensive. I would recommend taking a cab, especially if you are a group!

This was our second vacation at Viva Wyndham V Samana, first one was 5 years ago. The resort is well kept and the service has remained of good quality. I can easily tell that the people working here make it a special place. We’ve wanted a relaxed, tranquil vacation and that’s exactly what we’ve found again. The resort is rather small for an all inclusive, but that’s a plus for us. The room was like new, comfortable bed and fully functional facilities. Great shower. The buffet restaurant is always a good choice. Plenty of options for every taste, including healthy foods. We could find fish and vegetables every time. Espresso coffee is decent and most drinks are acceptable, considering this is all inclusive. Don’t expect quality wines though. The three la carte restaurants are Mar y Fuego, fish based, Mediteraneo and Fusion. They don’t make reservations anymore, you just show up. We could only eat at May y Fuego and Meditaraneo this time, as Fusion was always full and long waiting lines. Mar y Fuego was better, especially with tables lined by the beach. The beach is awesome, plenty of sun chairs and plenty of palm trees to hide from the sun. Beach was clean. The entertainment team does a great job. Kudos to Hendry who kept my partner in shape every day:) Bottom line, chose this resort if you want a laid back atmosphere, a chilled vacation and good value for your money. Not the place for wild parties or for singles looking to hook up on vacation:). Also, keep in mind that most tourists are (well) over 40yo in this resort. I think we’ll be back!

I’d like to have the option to pay a lil more for good quality a la carte restaurants, but I understand it’s a challenge in such rather small resorts.

I loved the staff. Each and every day they were so helpful, and going above and beyond to make our holiday and wedding party a lovely experience. The events manager (i forgot his name), Gema, Willliam and the sweet dinning room hostess made our experience memorable! Thank you to you all.💖

The coffee stations in the rooms (filters were not clean). It was not a big deal as coffee was readily available on room service

Superb location...nice facilities....gorgeous beaches....nice pool/chairs/floats.....great staff....stayed in the "cottages" not the main hotel (and it was definitely worth it)...wi-fi was good....decent entertainment.....good excursions....overall great value.

Food is mediocre.....even the restaurants for which you need reservations....but it is an all inclusive so you sort of expect that. Lots of it and really no complaints.

Beautiful location. Yet we walked the beach and there was trash piled up on a private property. The breakfast was ok. Yet one of the cooks that made the eggs was a little rude ( short guy) May he had a bad day

There were a lot of ants on the beach that were biting me on the beach chair area. I have bug bites all over my legs arms and back 3 days after I Still struggling with bug bite bumps. They need to exterminate ASAP

This resort was like a little piece of quiet heaven, secluded, not too big, on a beautiful , wild beach. everything is taken care of with great details, the staff was really friendly, it had great food options, and everywhere there was just a relaxing, calm, lovely atmosphere. we also had a wonderful romantic dinner on the beach

- We originally booked a bungalow with private pool but due to an overbooking we had to change to another room. This would have been fine if it had been communicated in time... instead we were told only at arrival. The did reimbursed us and offered a dinner by the beach as compensation - there are really nice dining options but they can't be booked in advance. so we could not go to any of the restaurant and could only go to the general buffet.

the pool area and especially the beach front was pure paradise good amount of activities - not too much not too view and guests are never forced to participate very delicous and fresh pizza for actvities and transportation around Samana go to the activity office (travel agency) in the hotel - she was very competent

the wifi sucks! better to have no wifi then this - we wasted a lot of time trying to connect to the wifi there was not enough beach towels for every guest available the stuff at the bar seemed overworked multiple times some ingredients were missing for the drinks —> There should be more water dispensers to refill the water bottles - the amount of plastic bottles used was huge more vegetarian options at the reataurants and buffet would be an upgrade

Everything!!! Simply every little moment and details were special! The staff from all the sectors performed at high levels their duties, always with their eyes for the details and customs comfort. We kindly thanks the following kitchen staff that perfectly took care of our staying: Yeilin, Angelica, Júlio, Carlos,.Elane, Elian, Vanessa, Antonio, Maria, Elicha, Yerani, Daniel, Nicauri and Marisol. We can't wait to return to Wyndham V Samana, our best experience ever!!!

I would love to stay longer. No complaints at all!
