That the adult pools at amber closes at 6. We are adults. 9 pm should be of good time. They charged me for a room with a pool and then canceled. More than a week and I’m still waiting to be refunded and I paid for another room. I dislike that so many restaurants u could not eat at. That’s unfair. I think u should be able to use the entire premises. It’s not free

The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all nice and helpful. The buffet was really good with lots of selection. The hotel had a train to take you to the beach or the other resorts you have access too. The pool was big and there was plenty of seating. The beach is nice and clean. Room cleaning everyday. The magic and circus shows were both really good. The fridge items in the room was included in the price. The game room had a few fun games to play like pool and air hockey, but the prices per play were super expensive. Lots of options at the bars.
The room has a window into the bathroom and the covering doesn't extend all the way. May be awkward if you go with a friend or family member. The al a carte restaurants were good but don't get the Italian tortellini, only got 4 tortellinis. Done in 30 seconds. Setting reservations for multiple rooms can be a chore and can still have issues even going through guest services. Room cleaning seemed to miss things some days like taking the trash in the bathroom or refilling the fridge. Lots of annoying beach vendors.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed 9 nights over Christmas and New Years 2021 at Bahia Principe Fantasia. It is a very large property. Fantasia is only 1 of 6 resorts on the same property. it was easy to get between all 6 properties. Easy access to the beautiful beach. All the pools were amazing. The buffet food / alcohol are on par with what you would expect from an all inclusive. All of the Al La Carte restaurants had realy good food. Fantasia is a great resort for families with children as well as a couple of the other Bahia Principe resorts onsite. A few of the other ones are catered more to adults but either way, no matter which resort you stay on, you will have access to all 6 resorts and they are all walkable even though there are rotating golf cart trains throughout all the resorts. Definitely recommend this place.
Room service menu was not great even though it was still free. The phone stopped working a couple days into our stay. Some of the live entertainment could have been better but nothing too negative. We wish we would have been notified by someone on staff at the check in / out desk that negative Covid tests are required to fly out of Punta Cana and that they offered them on the resort. We didn’t find out about this until we got to the airport where we almost missed our flight due to having to get a rapid test at the airport.

The theme was great, and overall appearance is nice. Staff was amazing, Rosary at the front desk did all it takes to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Very professional and effective. Food was really good.
It takes a while to get to the beach, 10-15 min walking, or you have to take the buggy to get there, which you need to wait at the certain area, and sometimes wait is longer comparing to walking. At the time of booking it was written free shuttle from /to the airport, which I tried to request in messages, however no answer. When I got there, I tried to call phone number on booking to request it, however it was auto answer, no real person on other end, no leave message available. Now I’m checking the description it says with charge. Their taxi is charging $40. Drive with their taxi was unpleasant experience for me this time.

The staff is amazing. They go above and beyond to provide you with a great experience and satisfies your needs, even before asking for anything. I will give a 10 to the staff. The water park and the pool are great. My daughters enjoy every minute at the water park. Mommy and daddy enjoy the pool. The beach was great, even though it was full of seaweed when we went. I think was because it was raining a lot in prior days. Good lobby store. My daughter got a cold and I was able to find cough syrup at the lobby store. The staff very friendly and helpful. I enjoy being there.
We got lost trying to find the hotel, we asked at nearby hotels and they were very kind to tell us how to get there. Don’t trust your GPS, at least mine sent me to park in the middle of the highway and walk from there :-o The food was ok, it didn’t impress me. It taste like the food I cooked at home when I don’t have time to cook. Maybe I am use to a lot of flavor and seasoning. If you are ok with salt and pepper go for it. Take your repellent with you, the mosquitoes devoured my daughters’ legs.

Everything! We made reservations for the à la carte restaurants through the website before arriving (registration to their loyalty program first is mandatory) and we got an amazing culinary experience everyday. Our 3-year-old loved the food, the beach, and all the activities in the pools, it was so easy to keep him busy. It's our second time in Punta Cana and we will always come back, Dominicans are so warm and friendly, our child always felt welcomed by them.
We could hear everything going on outside of the room door, but is not completely their fault, I would wish some guests were more considerate and keep it quiet in the hallways.

I lovvedddd the view that my room brought it was right infront of the castle also the pools were very big and nice and very relaxing and the piña colada’s are bombbb, but sadly the pool was pretty warm but only because of the scorching sun so I don’t blame the resort nothing they could’ve done about it, another thing I loved was the staff they were very nice and greeted you with hello every time you passed by.
The food. The food was the only thing about this resort that bothered me listen the buffet all the food was flavorless and I tried but it’s just so bland, the only good food was in the Italian restaurant that’s where all the food food is at the lasagna is absolutely delicious def recommend going there instead of the buffet, and good lord do not I mean do not go to the circus restaurant the staff are very very kind but lord the food 🤮, the burger I ordered tasted like live animal and the bbq ribs tasted like cinnamon, the corn they gave me was rotten, and the vegetables flavor less, so the only thing I will warn you of is the food.
