Bahia Principe Grand Turquesa - All Inclusive

The entertainment staff was incredible. Really enjoyed them. Pool was super clean and it was not busy there at all. Lots of chairs. The ground staff keeps Torquesa beautiful. Peggy at the front desk was our first greet to the resort and he was very welcoming and friendly. We have been to 4 Bahia Properties ( 6 trips in total ) in 3 different countries and they give the same level of service which is what we come to expect and enjoy!

I did not like that people brought their own speakers down to the pool to overpower the music of the entertainment team. I think they should not be allowed at the pool AT ALL. We go to the Caribbean to listen to that music.. not top 40 from the USA. ... our door did not lock. The maid knew all about it. Said we needed to slam the door really hard and it would lock. Nope. No Bueno. So unknowingly, our door never needed a key card to get in. We figured this out on day 3. We told the front desk 2 times and they did not send anyone to fix it. I reminded them at checkout that this needed to be fixed.

Access to the beach was ridiculous was told it was private or they wouldn’t give you towels had to bring from hotel but didn’t tell you that until you got to the beach. Lotsss of mosquitoes in the room for bit every night in my sleep

Staff was very helpful and nice. Since I get there Luis from reception was amazing very polite people. Cleaning ladies were sure everything was ok.

The swim up bar and pool were exceptional. Also thought the entire staff, especially the entertainment crew, were outstanding! Very convenient to have the shuttle rides throughout the resort which makes it easier for everyone.

Thought the mattresses could be a little more comfortable.

The restaurant staff is pleasant and quick. The pool staff was also very nice. We appreciated the overall friendliness and availability of the people who work there. During our stay we had car trouble and the staff also helped us with that.

Our first night there was a very loud party outside of our room hosted by the hotel itself. It was not restful. Regarding the beach, it was full of sargassum - not the hotel's fault - but it rendered the beach unusable. The food options were not as varied and at one point, there were items that they ran out of and did not replace.

I have to say The entertainment staff, front desk, the guys that receives you and drives you to the buffet and gets you your transportation were all phenomenal.

The food, roaches in the buffet, flies and mosquitoes all over the food, rooms. All The rooms needs a new makeover. I had to call maintenance to fix the shower, sliding doors, refrigerator and called to get blankets and towels constantly and never came. Housekeeping can do definitely a better job. Also, the employees who are hunting you down to take you as an idiot by saying that they have a free gift and it’s a lie, all they want to do waste 60 minutes of your vacation time trying to sell you timeshare.

Key’s don’t work,Food was very salty,men on beach forcing us to pay for monkeys and parrots photos and not giving me what was booked ahead of time also assuming my son and I are couple so we deserve one bed.
