I love the pool, night entertainment, love the atmosphere and scenery, great staff

I didn't like the beach because it had alot of seaweed. The food was salty, it was hard to get in different restaurants. The beds were damp and cold my 2 sisters had to change rooms.

Friendly staff and facility was very clean. Lots of activities throughout the day for all ages. Beach was very clean and much better than resorts down the beach. Burger hut for lunch had great burgers and sports bar had great wings.

Lots of open air concepts which means not much a/c, so makes it a little difficult when u want to cool down or want a nice cool place to eat. A few air-conditioned spots but not many. Food was just sub-par and almost everyone in our group of 15 was sick with stomach issues.

What we liked was the staff everyone went out of their way to make things happen except the “butler” we had he was virtual was never able to get us into the restaurants....we found a loophole which was not cool but in the it benefited the staff.

You need to make reservations easier for people to eat at the restaurants...also the nights end at 10:30 pm...music and no evening activities after that time...expected to have more things to do at night j realize COVID changed things but they have outdoor areas that they can keep the DJ on longer....also the rooms need improvements...

Everything about my stay was excellent. My reservation was originally booked for the Royalton Bavaro, and when making my reservation I was told the resort would be open during the days I planned to travel and marry. When I arrived on the day, however, to my surprise, the resort I booked for was closed and would not open until November 2020. Fortunately though, the Royalton Punta Cana was able to accomodate my stay and more than delivered on my expectations. I took advantage of the kind offer for an upgrade and an additional night from what I originally made. The staff was very attentive, very willing to help, the food was great, and the shows were very good and entertaining. A special thing of note was the service I received from the front desk staff, in particular a young man named Gilberto. He went above and beyond the needs of myself and my wife and helped us out with the upgrades I mentioned before, very kindly showing us a couple of rooms to help us in our decision to book there. I would have booked directly with the resort had the website been a bit more clear and easier to navigate on how to book it. Now despite any small shortcomings that I did notice throughout my stay (the 1st room my wife and I stayed in had an empty mini bar but that was easily resolved, the AC also did not kick on in our 1st room, but that was fixed the next day and we had plenty of relief from the fan in our room, on the final night my room service order was slightly incorrect but easily resolved when I called, and when my wife and I moved to 1118 our Swim Out room the shower water wouldn't put out hot water. That wasn't a major problem for us it didn't ruin anything at all and I did report that to the staff at check out), I very much enjoyed my time there as did my wife. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or plan a family getaway.

Clean and neat all time. Although needs care in some areas, in the past I was there (before covid) and the facilities were more clean.

You need to clarify that the hotels Royalton Splash and Royalton Punta Cana are not the same. It brings confusion.

The staff was very friendly. Both the front desk and bar staff, went out of their way to assist us in ways they didn't have to. I needed to take a business call and needed some place with WIFI, but quiet to do the video call. I advised the gentleman at the front desk that the WIFI didn't work in my room. He was able to provide me with a quiet place to work for the 1 hour I was needing. Juny at the dips pool bar was very friendly and even assisted me with carry drinks to the poolside table we were sitting at.

Our room was not restocked daily with water. We had to call several times to get drinks placed in our room. They only came the one time after 2 days of requesting. Was not filled any other time during our 8 day stay.

The location was good.

Our major issue was food. We didn't get much food we liked. You couldn't get alcohol to the room and we were celebrating our birthday.

Beautiful resort. Grounds were well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly. Best hotel gym we’ve ever seen. Our butler Nazario was very helpful with dinner reservations and answering questions quickly. The VibeTeam at the pool was fun, offering exercise, games, dancing and other entertainment. Jean-Paul (JP Papi) was so friendly, always checking on us and by the end of the week knew our names.

* Change up the nightly entertainment instead of just singing every night. Thursday night was an acrobatic variety show that was very enjoyable. * Offer more options for lunch instead of just one restaurant, and have an ice cream or gelato shop * Replace room essentials on a daily basis. We ran out of toilet paper twice since we were not provided a back up roll. * Do not limit what can be ordered for dinner since this is an all inclusive resort. The one evening at Grazie we were told we could only order one item from the appetizer section and one main course. We had wanted to order a pizza for our group to share but were told we could not do that.
