Really comfortable bed. We loved the traditional room and decor. Wonderful swimming pool. The whole place had a very relaxed atmosphere. It had air conditioning which was important as it was very hot outside. The air conditioning unit was a floor standing one and quite noisy but that didn’t matter. It was very effective in cooling the room. Traditional French breakfast was good. Julia was a helpful and friendly host with good English. Lots of helpful tips for eating out. One thing to note; when you first arrive, park on the road and ring the bell. Julia will then take you to the side gate and show you how to gain access to the car park.

Julia was an excellent hostess, aware of every need and wanting to give us a quality experience. Breakfast was delicious and filling, with the best croissants I had in my 3 weeks in France. The room was exactly as pictured in Booking. The environment was low key and relaxing.

The location is a bit out. We had a rental car so the location was fine for us. However, at first we were going to walk and use public transportation, but that wouldn't work for this area.

The host Julia is most gracious, kind and helpful. They have keycode electric gates into the parking area beside the rooms. It is very safe and secure. The garden and large swimming pool are an oasis of calm. From the street you have will no idea how spacious and relaxing it is until you are through the gates. Julia got us a table at short notice at a restaurant on a very busy evening in Blois. Many people were turned away while we were there. It's so nice to have a host who has local connections. Very impressed.

Everything was perfect. We would have liked to stay longer. We didn't like leaving.

The hostess is fantastic, she was cheerful and helpful and was truly doing her best so each quest was cared for. Excellent secure parking, wonderful rooms, and a great breakfast to start each day.

Nothing, really. Only thing is that it is a bit of a walk for those without a car, in a city with limited transportation options. 25 minutes walk each way to visit town where restaurants and shopping is.

lovely clean premises . safe secure parking. swimming pool. breakfast was fabulous. but what was ie en more fantastic was the owner whom went out of her way to look after us and help . we had a flat tyre and she so kindly rang a number of places to book an appointment to change the tyre . can’t thank her enough . brilliant time all round .

absolutely nothing. it was perfect!

I love the grounds and the owner. she did her best to make us comfortable during a record breaking heat wave. even fixed us a to go breakfast as we left at 6am to catch our flight.

The B & B is not air conditioned. it is a historic building. so while it was warming (portable air conditioning unit), the character of the room and the POOL more than made up for that.

The host Julia has thought of every detail to make your stay perfect. Wonderful breakfast, cookies and tea in our rooms and she even called around town to make dinner reservations. A peaceful setting, lovely pool, and so close to town. The absolute best guest house we have ever stayed at and we'll be back!

Breakfast was lovely variety quality and freshness perfect. Attention to detail by hosts in all aspects of our stay. Room very tastefully decorated and furnished.

Lovely quiet location, with peaceful gardens and a nice sized pool. Nice sized and furnished room, Excellent continental breakfast, and best of all such a friendly helpful owner who went out of her way to make our stay memorable. We'll be back soon !

Nothing not to like.

Breakfast was nice considering French do not eat breakfast usually. Missed bacon and eggs we are used to but food was still good quality. Location was fine esp as didn’t know what to expect.

I would have liked to do my own laundry. I felt kind of imposing on the owner.
