Novotel Blois Centre Val De Loire

Good hotel in a really nice city. There are really nice amenitiies. The pool is really nice (and hot).

The breakfast was from 8 to 10 (let’s say, I do not remember by heart). We went down around 9:15 am and there are a lot of things missing (basics lik e sausages, crepes, ham…). I did ask for more, since it was taking them a lot of time to bring more and, for my surprise, they told me that was it!!! like 40 minutes before the bfast claoing time. I did complain but that was it. At the reception they offered me a 50% discount on the bfast. Good, but not enough. I told them that was not acceptable at all, not to beong more food for bfast…

This Novotel is a beautiful facility in the heart of Blois where we came to attend dance festivals as well as to enjoy this historic French locale. Perfect location, nice and quiet, lovely decor and helpful friendly staff. Romain was super nice, helpful and left a hand written note of apology in our room along with a bucket of ice and a carafe of ice water.

Our HVAC system wasn’t working properly but the desk staff quickly tried to fix it and then moved us to another very nice room. We also could not get the TV remote to work.

Not far from the city centre (10min walk), nice bedroom and comfortable bed, staff was pleasant and helpful, parking on site (for a fee).

The way the payment is handled: the hotel asked to take my card imprint when I checked in, the full amount plus a deposit was frozen on my account, and when I left I had to pay for the full stay. The amount is still frozen on my bank account. This is very inconvenient, the hotel should have paid me back the difference instead.

All staff without exception was very professional, friendly and accommodating. Dinner and the related service were very good at a reasonable price and a pleasant setting. The hotel offers a good private car park, albeit at cost.

It would help if electrical plugs were available at both sides of the bed, but in this respect this Novotel is not different than most others. Extra towel holders would be good and - again as in many hotels - the shower floor is slippery.

Loved the location of the hotel. Parking was an ease, very clean and the bed was super comfy!

My only suggestion would be allowing guests to manipulate the air temperature in the room. I need to sleep in the cold and was not able to lower past 71 farenheit.

The staff were very professional and welcoming. The pool was lovely. The AC worked very well.

Even the smallest noise was audible from the street/parking lot, so would not recommend for someone very sensitive to noise. It was close enough to city but it felt like it was quite some walk.

Nice hotel in very good central location. Very good facilities for kids including the small pool. Private parking spacious enough for a car with bikes and rooftopbox. Clean rooms. Excellent breakfast incl. glutenfree bread.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Family friendly with two extra bed for our kids in the room. No extra costs for breakfast for the kids. Pool was fabulous! Terrace for dining

Parking is a bit tricky, but if you know to turn right into the very small street after the main entrance it’s easy to find.

We had a very pleasant stay, really enjoyed the breakfast. It was organized and clean. And well isolated, we didn't hear other guests, while the hotel seemed to be fully booked! Would recommend it!

Just one minor thing: the shower turned cold in the middle for a few secs and was not very powerful, but other than that was still a good shower.

We were just staying for one night and it was very easy to find with ample parking. However we would happily have stayed for longer, the bedroom was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was very nice with a large shower, the heated pool looked very tempting but we didn’t have time and the breakfast was very good.
