the location is stunning and the old part of the property quite charming

the new part has tiny ugly rooms. the female desk staff were unhelpful. i had messaged a couple of days in advance to ask if my mum and i could have a room with a bath. they did nothing about that. when we arrived i asked again and confirmed i would pay more. it was agony but we got the bath.

Unbeatable location. Spectacular views. super comfortable bed.

Sadly the restaurant “La Table du Bistro” has many issues. The staff is so young and inexperienced. service was very disorganised. The quality of the service simply does not match the price tag. Nearly fell off my chair when I was charged 20€ for a G&T, granted a very nice one, French gin “Generous” and Artonic lemon and lavender tonic. The tonic alone was 6€! At dinner, the dissatisfaction of several clients was plainly evident. Surprisingly for such a new build, soundproofing wasn’t very effective. Thankfully no rowdy guests this time. one could plainly hear the comings and goings of guests outside.

The room was good and clean, the decor was quite basic but OK. The rooms have signs of wear and tear. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The reception staff was accommodating. The location right next to the Chateau is quite convenient but you don't get any extra perks for staying there and it is quite remote which leaves you with very little food options after 6pm.

The bistro service was appalling. They don't have enough staff between the restaurant, bar and bistro and the management and use of space is very poor. The parking is not included in the room price which is quite tacky. The "river views" are not that great and do not include a view of the castle.

We had a lovely stay at the Relais de Chambord! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room felt comfortable and luxurious with lots of little touches and attention to detail (although the room was slightly smaller than we were expecting). The spa area is lovely, especially the outdoor hot tub and sauna/steam room areas. The bar and restaurant were also great and we had a delicious meal there. Great location right next to the river and the Chateau! We would definitely go back if we were in Chambord again.

The BEST location overlooking Chateau Chambord. Lovely property, very luxurious. Breakfast v good , hot and cold buffet options. The hotel restaurant also has a bar and beautiful terrace overlooking the chateau - magical views. The staff were very good - we had a great young man- Neman(?) originally from Madagascar, who was really helpful.

The restaurant is quite small and was completely booked out, so be aware that there are no options within walking distance, only by car around 10/20 mins away. We came back after eating elsewhere to find that we could have had a charcuterie board in the bar area. Just wish we had known, so we didn’t have to go driving off to the next town. Also, I felt a hotel at this level should have provided bathrobe and slippers but none supplied- disappointed.

Rating: ★★★★★ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Relais De Chambord and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. The receptionist was friendly and provided me with all the necessary information about the hotel facilities and amenities. Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and modern design. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had a comfortable bed that provided a restful night's sleep. The attention to detail was evident, with thoughtful touches such as complimentary bottled water and a selection of teas and coffees. The hotel's dining options were equally impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to different dietary preferences. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the attentive staff made sure that I had everything I needed. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's spa and wellness facilities. The spa offered a range of treatments and therapies, and I indulged in The location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The concierge was knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and sightseeing spots.

Location , the view over the castle is amazing. The restaurant was good. You need reservation. Very clean.

The staff was not so wellcoming and friendly, maybe because it was very dificult to comunicate in english. The breakfast was poor. You can get in town (Blois) only by taxi ( 50-80 euro /way). No shuttle, buses only at 8 am and 4 pm. Very noisy in the morning due to providers, that came from 7- 7.30 in the morning ( we have river view, so over the reception and services entrance ). The room and the bathroom are very small.

Unbeatable location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Two restaurants on site with differing but very good offerings. Very inviting and comfortable bar area.

The room was great, double aspect views however a bit more attention to cleaning would have been appreciated for a hotel of this quality. On raising the window blinds it was obvious it had been some time since both the bottom of the window frame and the window cill have seen a cleaning cloth. Similarly in the bathroom there were white water stains on the dark painted wall beside the toilet which should have been wiped and cleaned. Minor details but important.

Really nice room. Very comfortable bed and very clean. Good bathroom Staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and evening meals was excellent, particularly the meal in the smarter restaurant, with great service Located with stunning views of the chateaux from some rooms and from the restaurant terrace......very relaxing. Private parking from the chateaux crowds. Local area very good for walking or cycling (rent from the hotel)

Dogs not allowed in the bar area

Perfect for early chateau access. Posh looking hotel that was refurbished a few years ago. Welcoming staff very helpful. Comfortable bed and huge duvet.

Room small and very expensive due to location. Bistro for dinner was small and an alcove off a corridor. Main restaurant probably better ambiance. Food very expensive for fancy small portions. Pork ribs with crackling was soggy and mostly fat. Very few vegetables. Hired e-bikes and one was faulty so we kept stopping and couldn’t go on the route we wanted to, returning early. No offer of refund or part refund.
