Radisson BLU Hotel Nantes

The metre at breakfast was amazing, he was very helpful, as the rest of the team in the morning.

My issue was with Jule, I didn’t received an answer to my request when I made the booking. 1h later when I got to the hotel and asked the same request he said; “Oh! I saw your request, I didn’t answer” and he didn’t try to apologise, he didn’t give me options or suggestions. He wasn’t actually answer properly any questions. I feel a receptionist must be kind and very welcome at any time, far from what I felt.

The staff was excellent. Christian the night auditor checked us in after we left another hotel. gave us great recommendations for visit and other food choices.

In room dining wasn't perfect, for the cost of à 19 Euro burger, fries were soaked in oil and defrosted burger buns were lightly toasted...and then became soggy...and the salad really basic - french dressing as usual amazing... however as a 4 star, compared to other ... we switched hotels as the bon refundable booking from Booking. com, doesn't help when the other hotel is a 4 star and is completely dirty and smell, we moved to this hotel and didn't get checked in until 12am... the time at the other hotel was a waste and a waste of 200 Euros... not sure if the hotel or booking. com will do anything. this is the scenario when non refund non change is a mess... typically I wouldn't mind, bit it was that bad..... @booking.com please contact me.

Good staff Very good breakfast (in addition to room). Good restaurant (but in high demand by guests of seminars / conferences). Good bar Interesting architectural settings and details parking is available (extra cost) - ask the doorman for the better one (largerr parking slots)

Rooms have funky layout - mine had stairs inside the room. it cuts down on effective room size (not abig deal) and adds a risk of tripping (at night). Need better marking / indication on how ro reach the fromt desk from thh street level : indication toward elevators, etc.

we booked at the last minute due to a flight cancellation. We were delighted by the speed to get our keys in. the hotel is a truly remarkable building, with top class decoration. the room was very spacious, we got upgraded and I dont know why but great gesture (:>. Breakfast was excellent with huge variety. we left our luggage at reception so we could visit the surrounding city centre area, which is really nice. we booked a taxi through reception which was on time. Excellent unplanned stay in this hotel but would definitely recommend it

This hotel is in a magnificent Neo-Classical building. Bravo for renovation and saving it. However, the dreadful interior decor of the public spaces is not worthy of this architecture and it would be so easy to make it more welcoming.

The cheap and cheesy decor in the entry hall and restaurant was really unworthy of this grand building. It is cold, uninviting and sends the wrong message. The private rooms are actually very nice.

person who checked us in was awesome. the room was spacious and reasonably well equipped. could be better. Nice site. Nice champagne welcoming drink.

my daughter has allergies and there was nothing (aside from straight up fruit or honey) she could have for breakfast meaning none of us had breakfast. I think you could do better there

The Location, very close to center and very accessible by car and many parking nearby , the setting, the building of a renovated ancient court house is magnificent, The spacious room, the nice breakfast, and helfpful staff

The condition of the equipements in the room. in our room , one of the closet door was missing, and the water pressure in the shower was so low that it was a struggle to take a shower. the hotel staffed proposed to change room , but it was not possible for us, but thankfully they were able to offer us compensations so it was great

The hotel itself is stunning! Our room was beautiful and spacious with very high ceilings. Everything was impeccably clean. The location was perfect for our needs-very walkable! They don’t have parking onsite but the garage was easy to find just steps away. I wish we had more time there.

Receptions was a lovely girl who was on the ball. When I asked about getting to the airport in the morning she booked the taxi there and then. The meal in the restaurant was exceptional, my only gripe was the limited wine list - the waiter chose a balanced wine for us nevertheless. The food was out of this world.

The WiFi was very slow for this day and age. As said above, the choice of wines were a bit limited considering a 4 star hotel in France.

Personnel very friendly and welcoming. Setting and building (former court house) spectacular. Public rental bike station (Bicloo) as well as car park garage right in front. Most highlights and shopping at walking distance. Comfortable bedding and room. Good sound insulation from the street. Good in room coffee and tea facilities. Inner court yard to have drinks.

Some maintenance is due (paint of window sills and occasional in room damage). The airco system does not show great performance and is limited to 19•C which for us is less than comfortable to sleep in.
