Best Western Plus Nice Cosy Hotel

Was a near perfect stay in an ideal location, with a very friendly and helpful staff, comprehensive and tasty breakfast, and good size room and bathroom. The location was right next to Av Jean Medecin and right in front of the train station.

The stay was nearly perfect, only issue was I did find a bug in the toilet on the morning of check out. I assume this is uncommon in the hotel, but was disappointed as it was perfect up until then.

The choice for this hotel was based on it's location (very close to the main railway station) and the price. The staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Check-in was quick. The room (junior suite) did meet our expectations (sort of). The room size is average. While the listed roomsize is 100% true, you might be surpised by its size. Just a regular room. We did not found any argument to call this room a 'junior suite'. We always do our homework, so no surprise for us here. The bathroom is very small but sufficent and well cleaned. Breakfast is totally fine, nothing special. The sign outside says '4 star hotel' and the addition "plus" to the brand name Best Western makes you think you will get spoiled a bit. It might disappoint you there. Overall the hotel is fine for a few days in Nice. The price makes it is value for money and the wonderfull staff makes we will return if we need to stay in this city in the future.

No toilet paper holder in the bathroom (hence the word 'authentic'), airconditioning was not working.

My wife and I relocated here from a nearby hotel because I needed faster WiFi. This hotel was very much in line with a nicer Best Western in the US: Everything worked, the bed was large and comfortable, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff was absolutely on point. The hotel allowed us to store our bags in a secure location from 11am to nearly 8pm when we checked in, and when we checked in, we were in the room within five minutes (which, again, is very much in line with Best Western - they don't waste your time). The room rate was much more reasonable than the other location we stayed at in Nice, and the WiFi, as advertised, was fairly fast for Europe. Breakfast was like a nicer Continental, with several choices of things like yogurt and croissants.

It is a bit far from the sea and Old Nice, but the tramway is a block away. Most of the restaurants nearby are fast food, with a couple of exceptions. Overall, though, this place is a fantastic value.

Very ideal place to stay if you are taking the train. The hotel was located within walking distance of the train station. Check-in was easy. They managed to let us in early as there are already available rooms. The room was spacious. Our room was cleaned every day. Comfortable bed. Nice bedroom sleepers. There are plenty of options to eat around the Hotel area. The old town is about 15 minutes walk and so is the beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Fabriz who works on the night shift. I left my phone in the room and they were able to send it back to me in the UK without difficulty.

Location was good but would have booked a bit closer to the beach and old town if I would do it again. 15 min walking was okay though and you can also take the tram (3 stops).

The staff were all amazing and very friendly. Breakfast selection wasn't that big, but everything was fresh and tasty. We requested close rooms and they were able to accommodate that. Good soundproofing in the rooms as the corner outside can get pretty noisy, but with the windows shut you can barely hear a thing! Room size was great, plenty of room to get ready and lots of plus sockets.

The shower - the shower try filled up too quickly during showering so would run out into the rest of the bath room. Not really that much of an issue as the shower was lovely. Told a member of staff at the desk so they were aware we used our towels to soak it up. As it was a Sunday there was no one available to take a look at it, but it didn't disrupt our stay

The staff was very kind and efficient, the location is good for me, and the price was reasonable in the periode that I stayed. The room quality is quite high for the price, There is a coffee and tea machine in a room. The bed is confortable and there are slippers! There is a proper desk with power point near by, Wifi is working well without any issue. I arrived too earlier but they were ready to do something and arranged it to help me. I appreciate their attitude and friendliness. Around Nice station generally speaking the quality of hotel is not as good as in the other city but this hotel has a good standard in my opinion. It is near the Nice station and many shops around.

I prefer a kettle and cups for tea coffee making, rather than a coffee machine as I drink a lot of coffee, For warmer season it seems that the price is not the same, but it is common for beachside city....

The location very good for a train traveller. Next to a to a main tram line. Staff friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast room was always tidy and well looked after. The choice of foods and types of coffee was plentiful. The lobby had some old-time charm and was big.

The room was spacious and the windows kept the street noise outside. A downside was that you could hear what was going on in the room behind the wall, and what was being talked about. Luckily our neighbours also realised this, though not too fast.

The location was very near to the Nice train station, off the main shopping street. The hotel was recently refurbished and the room was clean, had a comfortable bed. It was quiet at nice, which was good. Breakfast was good, included in our room price, a couple hot things but otherwise the usual continental breakfast.

The rooms are pretty small, the bathroom and toilet separated into the tight corners of the building. It was also very warm in the hotel generally! There is air conditioning so you might need it in summer...

Mattress was so uncomfortable and it had a mattress topper on it too and at the end of its life.I told the staff who tried their hardest to rectify it and were great.We just top and tailed in the end and got on with it as it was only 4 nights.
