Trocadero

We visited Nice in April and so we were looking for a hotel in the city center and close to the train station. The hotel was a 3-4 minute walk to both destinations. So we managed to go to Monaco, Cannes and Antibes. In the evening we could walk around the center and have dinner. Right at the airport exit there is a tram № 2 and it goes close to the hotel (it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk). The price of the tram ticket is 1.50 €. It is possible to leave luggage after we left the hotel. The room was very clean. Breakfast is typically French - croissants, baguettes, nutella, jam, butter, coffee and tea. We ordered breakfast on the spot. It's worth it because cappuccino and coffee in Nice are incredibly expensive.

I have no recommendations.

Excellent room, basic a great low price, location is superb and very clean and friendly staff.

No locked are in the hotel to leave bags for a few hours after checkout before flight.

The room we stayed in was very modern. You could immediately see that the bathroom had been recently renovated to a very high standard. The windows of the room appear to have been upgraded too. Once they were shut, they blocked out all of the sound of the outside world. The curtains on the window were excellent too, as they were "black-out" and kept the room nice and dark in the early morning. The location was great. Just a couple of minutes walk to the train station, or to a tram stop.

The room was a little on the small side, however for what we paid, it was worth it. The pillows on the bed were small, and we only had one each. It would be great to have more pillows. But to be fair, I didn't ask for any more pillows, so it may be a problem that could've been solved very easily by the staff.

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Hotel is located 5min walk from train station, this was important for us as we planned to visit also Cannes, Antibes and Monaco. Room had air condition, which is great, because humidity is high in Nice and is hard to breathe. TV was in room, we had chance to watch few episodes of very good known Charmed :) we had very early flight to Nice and check in is from 2pm, but we left our luggage in hotel and left to beach. There is McDonalds 3min walk from hotel, burgers, shops, pharmacy, tram stations, LIDL is 6min walk, for us perfect.

Internet was a bit slow, but it could be because we were on 3rd floor.

the location was fantastic, 2 minute walk to the train station and tram stop. Lots of shops and places to eat all around the area, a lot of different choices. value for money was great for the location. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Despite being in the city centre with shops and restaurants it was fairly quiet during the night had no interruptions from inside or outside. Room came with safe which was helpful.

Room was smaller than expected. Definitely a new carpet needed as was stained with chemicals all over. Wi-Fi was not the best worked for 5 minutes and then would disconnect.

my friends were a bit worried about the location -opp Gate du Nord. It has a bad reputation. I found it fine. I was only hassled once when I first arrived. after that -all good though it is not an area I would walk around solo very late at night. Very easy to get to all the places so wanted to go via bus or metro or even walking. breakfast was in a sister hotel around the corner in a crazy basement like a castle ‘dungeon’. The woman in charge of breakfast was delightful and very accommodating.

The decor was a little tired but … the room was comfy.

Just a few steps from Nice Ville train station and tram/bus stops to sights, there are many small restaurants in the same street, store for cheap water and other drinks across the hotel, English TV channels, fixed the linens everyday.

Major concern was the weak internet at night/ need to always sign in every few minutes...No shampoo, mini soaps were not always replenished... Not a big thing for me because I bring my own liquid hair and body soap

We booked last minute because of a train delay which meant we were checking in after 12am. The man at the desk so helpful and went out of his way to help us and make sure we had the correct room. He then gave us tips and pointers about where to eat what time places close etc. He was very friendly and made us feel very at ease after a stressful busy day. The next morning when checking out they kept our luggage for us the full day so we didn’t have to carry rucksacks around the city. Amazing staff, hotel and location. The location from the train station and beach was incredible.

The hotel is really close to the railway station, and to trams and buses. In the near there are shops, restaurants, bakeries. The staff is really kind and helpful. Our bad was made every day. It is a good price and value for travellers, who are not at the hotel for a long time.

There aren't fridge in the room, the carpet was dirty and the dusche/ink was a little damaged/we couldn't change so well the direction of the water. The WIFI connection is terrible, I had been waiting for a long time for loading, but I couldn't check anything on the internet (google, Fb, etc)

The location is amazing , 1 minute from the train station and the Main shopping street , and just 15 minutes from the beach. The stuff was really nice and helpful. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast they provide is nice. Very quiet , and at night the door can be only opened with card , so very secure.

No kettle in the room and no possibility to make coffee downstairs . It would be nice to have a glass in the room . The air conditioner didn't work , but I personally didn't need it .
