Hotel Khla Nice

- We had a triple room (for a family of 2+1kid) and it was perfect for us, huge double bed and an extra one. - Staff super friendly - Good breakfast

- bathroom very small and not so modern, but in the end it's not a big issue

Excellent location, just by the train station. It was beneficial to us as we wanted to explore a different city on the Riviera every day. The staff is very helpful. We had our room cleaned every day. (new towels, bed sheets, empty trash) The beds are comfortable.

The hotel is quite far (approx 15min of walking) from quality restaurants and cafes. Not a significant problem if you enjoy movement like we did. Also, the area is noisy, especially at night, so if you're a light sleeper, stay away. We were tired from all the daily activities, so it didn't bother us much. The bathroom had an off smell from the sewerage.

5 minutes walk from the train station, the hotel is nicely appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small but comfortable, not far from the main shopping area. Asian food was hit and miss, Vietnamese food was great, Chinese not so much.

The big issue, and I think important is that the whole area is filled with unsavory types. We had more than one group size us up to determine if we were worthy targets. And that was with 4 of us. No I'm not paranoid, this happened multiple times in the area. We just happen to aware of what they look for. Do not walk around Nice with expensive cameras or other valuables.

We stayed over for 6 nights. The location is super convenient (5 min walking distance from the train station), as we came from Marseille by train, and we also took a day trip to Cannes, also by train. 18 mim walking distance from the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful: we faced some technical issues with our first room, and we got immediately re-assigned to another one. The hotel is clean and fashionable. The breakfast is delicious with varieties. The stay was very pleasant, and it exceeded my expectations.

The ACs might need a clean up, as the air coming from the machine smelled a bit moulded.

Location is amazing, right around the corner from the train station and a short 15 minute walk down to the riviera. Man checking us in was extremely polite and informative, as well as all the other staff was super nice! The most comfortable bed ever that guaranteed a good night sleep! Also the AC in the room worked perfectly if you need to cool down a bit. Breakfast was okay, street was not too noisy and there is a market right across the street that is open very late if you night something quick to drink. Overall the neighbourhood felt safe and had a lot to offer very close by.

There were some issues with toilet not flushing properly (we got a note saying that pads and tissues shouldn’t be flushed, which is obvious) - but on the second day after room cleaning we didn’t get any new toilet paper, so I don’t know if the note meant toilet paper as well. When making the preauthorisation my card was declined because of 3DSecure, so I got a message saying that they will send me an external link to my email address where I can make the transaction. This made me a bit suspicious because I’ve never encountered this sort of practice while booking accommodation, so I double checked by calling the hotel directly and everything was fine in the end.

I have lots of nice things to say about our stay. I appreciate the fact that the room was very clean, the mattress and the bed sheets were in a very good condition, very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, you had plenty of options to choose from. The area was like in the pictures, with the entire staff very present and nice to everyone. Towel replacements almost daily and someone would tidy the room for us at noon, which was unexpected. The bathroom had all the necessities, to be honest, even if the shower cabin was pretty small, it was enough for us. Worth mentioning that the hairdryer was working very well, comparing with the classical hotel hairdryers that I had to use till now. The location is close to the train station, which is a plus if you want to travel also around Nice. Close to the street on which L1 is operating on, also. You have a store right in front of the hotel if you need anything.

The room was small, but that’s something that you probably assume from the pictures before you book a room. For two people it was enough, you’re not spending too much time in the room if you’re coming to visit Nice for a few days tbh. The sound isolation is not very good, we could hear the neighbors from the other rooms if they we’re talking louder, but we were not bothered. The noise from the outside was also not bothering, as we didn’t have the room on the street side, but somewhere oriented to the interior of the building.

The bedroom was immaculate, bright, good air con and plenty of room. The cleaners came every day which was lovely. Ahmed on the front reception desk was very friendly and professional. He spoke good English and was happy to help us where possible. Davide at breakfast was fantastic at his job! I would employ him!! He was extremely tentative and greeted every guest with a smile every morning. The breakfast buffet was very tasty with a good selection of hot and cold food and drink. The restaurant itself was very pleasant too. The hotel provided everything we needed for our 3 night stay in Nice! 2 mins walk from Nice Ville main train station and 15 mins from the promenade!

There was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee pods.

Stuff was super nice and helpful, breakfast was amazing, with so many food variations. Hotel was very nice, for France room was spacious. We loved the location, there are so many walking distance transportation options. The street is very quiet and the room also. We had a room with a balcony which we would recommend. Across the hotel there is a small shop if you arrive late you can buy some food, drinks etc. we felt very safe in the neighbourhood, we had late night walks. We would recommend this for your staying.

The shower was a little bit small, but in France that's normal, just don't have high expectations with the size of the shower. :)

The staff were lovely and very friendly. We had a large room with wonderful beds and bedding. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the maids always seemed to be busy cleaning. The buffet breakfast was also good.

It was a bit too far from the beach although being near the train station was very helpful. The trams were only a few minutes away which was also good. The area around the station is quite messy and poor looking and the view overlooking the building across from the hotel is not attractive with all its trash and air conditioning units.

Very close to the train station, yummy breakfast, big closet in the room with hangers, AC unit in the room. I appreciated that the bathroom had two big drawers.

On weekend nights it can get a little noisy from the street noise, because of this I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for light sleepers and families with babies. Additionally, the whole hotel is beautiful and modern but the bathroom needs a serious upgrade. The grout in the tile across the whole bathroom has seen better days.
