Hotel Villa Rivoli

Very nice hotel in a historical building, with cozy rooms and a private garden where you can have a good time. The hotel has several categories of rooms, and even the economy room I chose was very pleasant with all the necessary amenities. Ideally located in relation to the city center, 2 minutes walk from the beach.

Our accommodation was in a traditional room on the second floor of an historic building. You can't see from the photos, but the description says that the room is 14 m2, which is small. The maximum distance between bed and table is 30cm. You should take these into account if you are uncomfortable living in a tiny room. It didn't bother us. The room is not as you can see in the photos, it is more modestly furnished. Because of this and the size of the room, it is important to know that if you want to find accommodation in the summer season, you can get it for 280 EUR/night, which is not very reasonable. We stayed in February for 76 EUR/night (this included tourist tax) - perfect accommodation for that money! We loved it! They changed towels every day, made the bed, emptied the bins, cleaned up. Very nice decor in the downstairs common room. It always smelled good everywhere. It was a great experience!

Good value for the price we paid.

That the door of our room did not close properly and we found it open one day upon our return from sightseeing. The staff did not react when we inform them about the incident.

Staff very nice and helpful with their recommendations. Room on the small side but clean and comfortable. Very good location - within walking distance to the tram and the Promenade. Felt very safe in the area. Very good breakfast. Selection of pastries, water and coffee available during the day, for free, in the canteen area (on the top of your tea/coffee making facilities in the room).

My only suggestion for improvement would be to ventilate rooms more, although that may apply only to our room.

Location excellent, quality of room and exceptional helpful staff throughout..

Horrendous emptying of bins by the council at 1 am in the morning making a huge racket..

The staff where great .bed comfortable.breakfast good location for beach and Restaurants.short distance from airport tram L2 Alsace Lorraine to hotel Rivoli.main train station to Monte Carlo etc only a short walk.But one member of staff stood out from the Rest .Manon on Reception helpful caring nothing was to much trouble .very professional a real star .her customer service skills 10/10. I would come back to hotel Rivoli just for. This Reason .xx

Shower a bit small and needs a proper shower door.and a lip so water does not go all over floor .but not a big deal .

The beds are comfortable and the room was welcoming and clean. The staff was very pleasant, and the building has character. We were on the 3rd floor and it was very quiet.

The shower in the bathroom was so small that when my husband dropped his shampoo he could not pick it up without stepping outside of the shower. I had asked to have a taxi called for an early morning ride to the airport and they forgot. The morning person took care of it and we were so close to the airport that we were not late (thank goodness).

Beautiful old French Hotel in Nice. Staff couldn’t of been more helpful. Room wasn’t ready but let us change etc before the rugby. Also let us store our cases on day we left. Beds so comfy. Roll although not that big was so beautiful. Very old French style. Location was perfect. Minutes from beach and promenade and lots places to eat drink nearby. Just wish we could stayed longer ! We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. thanks so much !

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! We couldn't have asked for a better stay than what we had. Absolutely gorgeous, the place is very romantic, it is inspired from "La belle époque" which is exactly what we were looking for! The staff very nice and friendly, very well situated, near the Promenade des Anglais and only at 10 minutes from the city center and the old nice town. Breakfast was amazing, it felt like a dream. We recommend for sure if you want to spend an amazing holiday!!

Nothing, it was all too good that we did not find anything wrong

We had a nice stay at Hotel Villa Rivolli! It is a very quaint hotel in an excellent location. The staff was nice and accommodating. It’s close enough to walk to the promenade and old town. It is also very convenient for getting to transportation to visit other locations like Monaco, and Ezz. We enjoyed the breakfast outside in the pretty patio area. We thought it was worth the money.

We did not feel paying extra for a balcony room was worth it because it was such a small area that you could not even go out on.
