Le Riviera Collection, Signature Collection by Best Western

What an absolutely delightful find in the city centre., about 5 minute walk from the train station and a gentle 15 minute amble to Nice old town. The hotel is spotless with excellent hygiene measures in place. I love the ‘art-deco’ style, it made for a fabulous ambiance. I have to say the Reception staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant but I really want to commend the Night Porter who went out of his way to help us during our stay .. phoning approximately 15 restaurants at 10 o’clock at night to find one which could deliver food to us ( because of our very late arrival at 11.30pm) excellent Air-con and sound proofed windows Overall, an amazing experience…. Making us love Nice even more

My expectation (after reading other reviews) wasn't very high, but the hotel was ok. The room wasn't big, but we were there just at night. Good soundproofed windows (could be noisy with open windows) The personnel was always friendly and helpful, specially a lady who served us a breakfast. And breakfast. Not a huge variety, but everything very fresh and tasty, my daughter liked scrambled eggs, so tender and creamy. And my favourite Bigelow cosmetics in the bathroom was a nice touch. The location is not very central, but very convenient if you have an intention to travel to Cannes, Monaco etc, just 10 min walk to the train station and 15-20 min walk to the city centre.

The bedding and towels look a little worn, the pillows and blankets should also be replaced with more comfortable ones. In our bathroom, the ventilation and door lock didn't work, it wasn't convenient.

The cleanliness and professionalism of the staff were astonishing. The moment we entered the hotel and the room, we knew we made the right choice. The staff is so friendly and professional. The location is in a nice suburb of the city with no traffic or loud noises. We felt safe during the night also! Breakfast is simple but yet very delicious and clean. The rooms are very clean and sound proof. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely consider to come back!

There were no inbetween curtains in the room, only a thick light proof curtain for the night. Whenever we wanted to change clothes we had to close the curtains and turn on the lights because otherwise we were exposed to the apartments across the street.

The location is great (7 min walk to the beach, many shops like Carrefour express and Intermarche just around the corner, the street was not busy and noisy) Many nice bakeries close to the hotel (I recommend Edmond for a fancy breakfast or Les Petits Pains de Mediterranee for a classic boulangerie breakfast) The overall design of the hotel and rooms is nice, the level of cleanliness is very good, you can tell that the furniture is quite new and well kept, we had a small complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice detail, a coffee machine and coffee capsules and tea bags The staff at the reception were very friendly

The check-in hour is pretty late and inconvenient if you have an early flight (however they were kind enough to keep our baggage until our room was ready) The time of room cleaning was also pretty inconvenient, as it was in the afternoon (around 2-4 PM). You can’t take a nap because you hear the vacuum cleaner, doors slammed, water running etc snd if you are in the room at that time it will not get cleaned at all. The walls are pretty thin and if you are lucky enough (as we were) to have neighbours that take long showers at 1 AM you will hear water running as if it were in your own room. The room was not too big but not too small (we had a superior double room). You shouldn’t expect to have space to roam around, but it’s just enough to be comfortable.

My mum and I really enjoyed our stay at Le Riviera Collection. The hotel was super clean, well decorated and the staff were extremely helpful with making bookings and also went above and beyond in helping me deliver a package that I missed. The location was also very convenient - walking distance to beach and all the shops and restaurants we wanted to go to. We would definitely come back to stay the next time we are in Nice!

The rooms were quite tight but we knew this before booking (and also my mum and I did a lot of shopping and had two HUGE suitcases) so to no fault of the hotel!

This hotel really left us speechless. We rented an apartment in the center of Nice, but we weren't satisfied by our neighbours (drunk, loud music in the middle of the night...). I had no other option, but to go to the nearest hotel , even though it was late at night and I was alone with my kid. At the reception, we were kindly welcomed by the receptionist. He understood our situation and was even concerned for our safety. He even gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room, which by the way was amazing (clean, modern, big, comfortable bed, overall 10/10). The hotel itself was so calm and comfortable. But we were mostly amazed by the kindness of this man. Sadly we didn't get his name, but we truly hope he will get rewarded for being so kind and considerate.

The hotel is a boutique one, in a very good location: 10 mins walk from the Russian Orthodox Church, from the Nice Train Station (from here you can take the TER to Monaco, Italy or the rest of the Azur Coast), the bus station and the tourist Hop on Hop Off bus. 12-15 mins walk from the Promenade des Anglais. The area is quiet, very safe (day & night) and there are lots of cute restaurants. The receptionists are nice and try to help as much as they can (for instance on the first evening we found out we could not open one of our luggages so they lent us tools which helped us). The breakfast is very good and fresh, lots of choices even if not on demand (it is not huge, keep in mind this is a rather small boutique hotel so the choices are as many as possible, but you will not find beans or such). Fresh juices, milk (+ almond), cereals, honey, nuts, many pastries, omelette, bacon, selection of bread, cheese, some vegetables, pancakes etc. The rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed. There is not much noise in the hotel (an alarm went off one night but we suspect someone smoked in a room…). Overall if you want to visit Nice, rest between visits and at night, have a good breakfast, I highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms are on the small size, but that’s the “price” to pay for staying in the Jean Medecin neighborhood, close to the main attractions. Our triple room had no balcony. We were offered an upgrade in an apartment but we refused (our 4 yo daughter wouldn’t have had her own bed). The toilet and the bathroom were separated, but it was not a problem for us. The bathroom had only a curtain to separate it from the room and it was not possible to dim the lights, so it was difficult to sleep for our daughter if we were in the bathroom. An accordion door and some dim lights would be nice. The coffee machine did not work and was not fixed although we asked twice. But these are small inconvenients, overall it was very nice!

I stayed in this hotel for four nights, the location is very close to Nice-Ville train station, the interior is nice as well, the best thing about it is the staff. Nicolas and Leah are really nice and friendly, Innes is very thoughtful and kind, the experience is really nice overall, definitely recommend it!

Can hear some noise from other rooms that’s the little flaw, but everything other than that is good!

We loved the corner room, looking over the streets of Nice. It was a great space and the balcony was wonderful. Breakfast each morning was also fantastic with a good selection of food and drinks available. Excellent location with quick 10 minutes walk to Nice Trains, or the Beach. Old Town was a bit further, 15 - 20 minutes, but not too bad.

Would have been great to have some wine glasses, cutlery, dishes and plates for the room, for when we "ate in". However, the staff were very helpful and supplied these upon request, from their kitchen on the bottom floor.

The location and facilities of the hotel were good. The hotel had cozy and charming vibes and the balcony view was amazing.

As a four-star hotel, I was disappointed that the mini fridge in my room only had water and wasn't refilled the following day. When I asked the front desk for another bottle of water, they suggested me to go to a nearby supermarket to purchase my own. I think more options could be made available to guests, or at least provide timely restocking. Additionally, I am still waiting for the pre-authorized deposit to be returned. It has been a week since my stay and I have yet to receive any confirmation or notification from the hotel.
