Beautiful hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were very soft, but that’s down to taste I think. we travelled with our 2 medium sized dogs and we felt very welcome with them. (Spain to Denmark) The hotel is surrounded by an incredible forest where we went for a morning walk with them. Our dogs were allowed into the hotel restaurant with us. We had the breakfast buffet, which was delicious. There is also a great park and dog park nearby! would come back for sure.

A bit pricey for the season, and price per dog was also a bit much, even though I am happy to pay for my dogs usually. I believe is was 20 euros per dog, per night.

Nicely located. The park isa beautiful. Very convenient for visiting the center of Darmstadt.

We stayed in the Zeughaus, a separate building about half a mile away from the main hotel building. From the main building, there were no signs indicating the way to Zeughaus. We drove there and left searching for another place, because the building itself had no sign it belonged to the hotel. Instead, a sign "museum" which made us believe it was the wrong place. After dinner, we had to walk back in total darkness - a no-go for women traveling alone.

The property is the perfect location for a romantic gateway, we had our little dog with us and there is a forest next to the establishment. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we really loved our stay there . We also had dîner at their restaurant and we highly recommend, delicious food for good value.

Last year we could charge our electric car. This your this service has been discontinued “due to high electricity prices” as explained by the reception. why not increase pricing? For us not having charging facilities is a reason not to come back to this hotel, despite the positives of the hotel.

The hotel cares for the details of your experience, from the reception to the room, where you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay. The staff is very attentive, always concerned about how to serve the guests better. The breakfast is outstanding while the restaurant has a short but very good menu, really worth trying for lunch and dinner.

Only observation is about the transportation of luggage from parking area to the reception - quite far on a floor that is not easy.

Not applicable - there are no negatives. It just all works effortlessly exactly as you'd expect.

an amazing location a beautiful property near the lake and the forest with hiking trails 23 min. from Frankfurt airport 7 min. from a nice and big shopping centre and you can’t feel it it’s like you are deep in the woods

The room was very cold and only had a small radiator. Even after switching it on the room did not heat up during the night. Wool blankets were provided.

This is a fantastic place to stay. We had a junior suite. We loved the extra room. The bathroom was luxurious. The robes fit even an xl person. They have Hermès toiletries. The staff is super nice. We had a great dinner. I would highly recommend the salmon appetizer.

There wasn’t an elevator to our room, but the rooms in the main building did have elevators.

The staff was extremely helpful and service minded. Nice room.

It was very hot, when we stayed there and so was the room - a fan would have been nice. Also, the restaurant had a very limited selection - we had both lunch and dinner, which was a mistake.
