The Hotel Darmstadt

It was a really neat place, with helpful personnel. The lobby decor appealed especially to me. The pool table and the fußball table are really nice attractions, unfortunately I had no one to play with. Only thing I was a bit disappointed - and I say this with complete humour - was the Atari console that is fake and used only as decoration. The room was good for one person, quite comfortable.

If I could make one suggestion, that would be that I'd like to see a bit bigger variety in the breakfast buffet. It was good, but I think that if pancakes and omelette or fried eggs were added, it would be top.

Great staff and wonderful to get in a round of a game of pool before bed. It's fantastic business area with some giants in tech surrounding the area. Great forest for a morning run a you can walk to town in a matter of 30mins. Great games downstairs to play which added something extra to the stay for sure Lovely staff And as always good ACCOR trademark cleanliness

I would have loved a coffee/tea in the room and for sure missed that. Location worked for me but if you want to be right in city center then this is not the hotel. Its lovely near a forest though

Especially the multicultural and very friendly and helpful staff. I'll remember how well they treated me during my stay and can recommend it to anyone visiting Darmstadt for work or leisure. Especially Ozcan, Ekaterina, Vicky, Cosimo, Farida from night front desk were always very talkative and made me feel like home. All the staff I met there were very friendly and good people so you won't notice you're in a hotel because the location, the staff and facility are on a top level without losing the character of a "provisional home".

Easy online check-in. Good breakfast. Decent size room in a typical budget chain hotel decor.

Parking: apparently there is pay parking at the hotel, but during our stay the barriers were up so not entirely sure. We parked free of charge on the street. For some reason we had a single duvet on a large double bed. I hope this was a mistake and not the norm (had to ask for a second duvet, which was not a problem).

Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Large public spaces in the hotel to spend some time. Nice Chinese restaurant in easy walking distance.

Located in an industrial area of Darmstadt, quite far away from the train station and the city centre. During our stay, there was a construction site outside the hotel, so road traffic and public transport was restricted. Room rather small.

Great location near Flixbus. Very helpful staff; they had no problem with my storing and eventually packing up my folding bike in the dorm. Elevator a bit clunky but heck, it's big and it works!

Small elevator from ground floor to yard not working? Didn't seem to be; gotta get heavy stuff down stairs Breakfast was a bit skimpy, even for only 8€. I would have appreciated better Brötchen.

Nice hotel, lovely decor. Easy access, private parking for 10 euro a night. Friendly staff

Was advised to park in the street to save the money for the parking, when I came back to park my car there was no parking spot so I had to go back and forth to finally pay for the parking The 2 guys at the front desk didn't tell me the same story about the parking ticket. So a bit confusing, but it ended up well.

Style is modern and clean. Rooms, beds and bathroom are comfortable, nothing is broken or damaged. Friendly staff and 24hrs reception. Breakfast is really value for money!

Location is not attractive, as not in the city center but a very convenient location for one night stop on your way south.

Friendly staff, totally professional , great ambience and lots of free space to sit and chat , this is a great place to stay in darmstadt

Everything is fine, just one point, when booking from.booking.com the parking is not included which if changed would be great

Nice comfy bed. Very clean. Nice big TV. I want to particularly thank Rodhanti (not sure if that spelling is right), who was on shift between 23:00 and midnight on Sun 28th Nov. The HDMI connection to the TV was not working. I went down to reception to report the issue. Another customer just showed up and so Rodhanti took my room number and said she'd come and have a look after checking in the other customer. And as promised, a few minutes later she came up to the room and investigated the issue. Then she went back down to find another available room nearby to check if the TV there worked any better. A few minutes later she was back again with a key to the room next door, and sure enough the HDMI connection worked there. So she gave me that room key and I moved my things there instead and was able to watch my content before bed. Thank you Rodhanti.

HDMI connection to the TV did not work in the first room I was given. Parking is 10 euro per night, but just a few meters away there is free street parking. So why would I pay 10 euro ? Only benefit is perhaps that the car park is a little safer, since the street did seem a bit quite.
