Holiday Inn Express Düsseldorf - Hauptbahnhof, an IHG Hotel

It was a good, clean and normal room.. But there was the Kolnmesse, so the price was predatory, like it happens in every country when there is an exhibition.. Otherwise this room must cost 100€ per night maximum.. Also the breakfast was very good and worthy..

It didn’t have a little fridge inside the room and the excuse was that we are like an express hotel. I don’t accept this excuse.. Express hotel means I come for 2 hours with my illegal prostitute and I leave.. When you go to stay to a hotel such as holiday inn for 1 or 2 or 3 days, with 227€ per night, this is not express.. this is a normal and very expensive staying.. It was unacceptable, we couldn’t keep cold our water.. Holiday inn is a rich hotel chain.. they can put inside every room a f*$#ing little fridge..

The value for money was excellent! The room was very clean and overall comfortable. Location is quite practical. The overall ambience, look and feel was very nice and felt brand new. We were very satisfied with the hotel in terms of the value and would definitely consider staying here again when we return.

Overall, we had a good stay. Some minor inconveniences we encountered were, for example, pressure from the shower was quite low, also the breakfast had very little in terms of hot food, only scrambled and hard boiled eggs. Bread and cheese selection was nice, though. We felt the overnight parking fee of 19EUR was a little high, but there were some parking lots nearby outside that were free of charge.

Great location, it has many different stations of the public transportation available near by which allows for an easy access to any place in the city. The building is very fresh and the rooms are very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is really good, plenty to choose from but one needs to follow the indicated times if one wants a calm breakfast.

There is no consistency on the customer service: Some of the personnel were quite rude and not very helpful, and at the same time some were great and very helpful. Felt a bit like a roulette. Had issues with the cleaning assistant one time by asking her a simple question, which was not a pleasant experience at all.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I truly felt like a valued guest throughout my stay. Luxurious Accommodations: My room at Holiday Inn Express was simply exquisite. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings created a stylish and inviting atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a restful night's sleep. The room was also impeccably clean, thanks to the diligent housekeeping team.

The breakfast was really good had a lot of options of things to eat and drink. And the staff really helped us good really nice people. The bed and the tv and everything in the room was perfect.

But for the rooms i would like to have a microwave cause i most of time don’t wanna spend lots of money on dinner and a microwave would be nice to have to warm up food. And also i would like to be more informed about the view of where the room is cause I thought we would have a nice view but eventually it wasn’t what I thought. And maybe the shower could be better too, cause the shower head was not really comfortable for me, could be little bit bigger

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and our stay! There was enough space for 3 people and we also had enough space for getting ready. We stayed in July so AC was also important and that worked perfectly fine. Furthermore, everytime our room was cleaned we got new bottles of water for free in our fridge which was a nice surprise! The staff was also very kind and helpful when we had questions and they took their time to help us! Nearby are many banks located, 2 convenience stores and a bigger supermarket are just a minute away as well as going down to the heart of Insadong and Ikseondong is just a 10 Minute walk. You are also surrounded by 3 big subway stations that'll take you to anywhere you want to go! If I stay with a big group in Korea again I'd definitely pick Hotel Sunbee again!

You can hear the outside noises from the floor quite a bit but other than that it wasnt too disturbing

Simple but elegant design of the room. Nice quality furniture. Large comfortable bed with various pillow options. Still new hotel in April 2023 and it shows: rooms, bathroom and common areas are very clean and well kept. Hotel seems aimed at short-stay business travelers with the right amenities. Ample space in the common areas with seating and tables designed for work on a laptop. Pleasant surprise at this class of hotel: ironing board and iron in the room. Breakfast was simple but plentiful: cold meat cuts, cheese, vegetables (tomato, cucumber, pepper), pastries, jams, yoghurt and pancakes. Scrambled eggs was the only hot meal option. Large breakfast area with plenty of tables. 10min walk from Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. 5min walk to Capitol theater.

A few other hot meal options for breakfast would be nice.

The hotel was in a good location close to the city centre, as well as a metro stop. The hotel also looked modern and neat, and was generally very clean. Breakfast had a decent variety of food and drink options to choose from and was well-prepared.

Breakfast was very busy, even before the indicated "rush hour". The toilet near the lobby wasn't quite as clean as the rest of the hotel. There was no "do not disturb" door card available, only a "just a moment, I'm still in my room" door card which was promptly ignored by the cleaning staff that seemed a little impatient to enter the room.

This is a sound choise for anyone who would like to visit Dusseldorf for business or pleasure. It is a rather recent building, well situated to most transportation means (trains, buses etc) actually about 900m from the central train station of the city. An overall good services that was provided to us, without any significant weak points. It was clean, quiet (although the hotel was fully booked) and generally speaking pleasant to stay.

Small weak points: Staff was generally polite although sometimes slow to process demands. there was no mini bar fridge in the room that could be usefull for a bottel of water of a cold beer. we had some of our owns and we drunk them warm. when the hotel is fully booked the breakfast seatings were hard to find. (the staff however, warned us about rush hours)

The location is very close to the central railway station and the hotel is easy to find. The room, specially that room with children bed is very large. I have been in Düsseldorf for many times for business trip, so I know exactly the normal price for one night in city. Compare to the normal price is this holiday inn very attractive, or so called preiswert in German.

The hotel is too big, so that you may need few minutes to find your room, if your room is far away from the elevator... We have book 2 rooms at 2. floor and 5. floor, looks like that air-conditioner at 5. floor is more powerful that the other...
