Hotel am Zoo

The location was great, they are extremely close to the subway.

They where about to charge me twice for the parking. When we arrived, I went to the reception to pay the accomodation and the parking. When we made the check out, another person was at the reception and didn’t know I alteady paid the parking already, I had to show the transaction in my bank app, and to search for the receipt. We had two rooms, one single in the nice new building, and a double in the other building, in which the heating did not function, outside being like -3*C. They offered me extra blanket but i had to go to the reception in the other building, and I refused because I took a hot bath, then I was freezing. In the new building the elevator doesn’t work.

Being a level 3 Genius customer on Booking, I got the room for 49 euros 💶. That is impossible to beat. The hotel is right across the city zoo, and very well located. 2 restaurants and 2 coffee/pastry shops within 50 meters of the hotel. The subway is just on the corner of the building, and I think customers can buy public transport tickets 🎟 right from the checkin counter. The staff is helpful and polite, the rooms have a decent size, and the beds are comfortable. It was also very quiet. Internet was ok.

Could have been nice with a small refrigerator and maybe a water heater in the room. They have a good closed parking, but it costs 14 💶 /night. Very few TV channels, and they almost don't work.

A sympathic, a bit outdated hotel in a very relaxed area. The gentlemen at the reception were very helpful and friendly. Even late in the evening there were enough places close by to get some food and a drink. I would consider to come back if I m in Frankfurt again.

Two of the smaller lamps didn t work in the room. The coffee milk in the breakfast room seemed to be a bit old. I tried two of them - both were flocking out in the coffee which I finally didn t drink. Otherwise everything was ok.

very clean and silent rooms and the location was great, just down the hotel there was a tram station and metro station. it’s just next to the Zoo and also 15 mins walk away to the other must-see places such as Römer, Zeil, Rossmarkt, Hauptwache etc. All the personnel was very friendly and helpful.

no minibar/mini fridge, double bed was not a real double, it was two single beds put together and they were getting separated all the time while sleeping and we were falling in between. The blankets were also for single beds, so the bed and the blankets are not really comfortable for couples. The pillows can be bigger, but they were ok. There were no slippers in the room, considering the lack of carpet, the slippers were much needed.

It's very nice and simple. Easy to get from the airport/20 minutes by S-Bahn direct line S8, stop is Eastendstrasse/ . Easy to get from main train station/5-10 minutes by S-Bahn, direct line S4 stop Eastendstrasse/. From S-Bahn Eastendstrasse to hotel 5-7 minutes easy walk. Supermarket PENY. About 5 minutes walk. If you need a kettle just ask on the reception and they will give you. Friendly professional staff.

Garage. Perfect for those persons with a car. Perfect Location. Good breakfast

amazing place to stay for a little trip around Frankfurt! the room was small but clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff was super useful and friendly, it was amazing speaking with them. The position is top. Not in the center of the city but super close to the tram and underground station so it’s really easy to move around. I’m looking forward to come back to this hotel in the future!

The hotel is very close to the subway station and also close to tram options. It is literally in front of the Zoo, with a nice view. The staff was very friendly. The bedroom is very confortable, the bed is good, everything was clean. There is enough space at the wardrobe, making this hotel a good option even for long stays.

Lift was broken, bathroom got wet after taking a shower

Rooms are wide and clean! Toilet seems like renovated Checkin and checkout went very smooth, people there are very friendly! The location of the hotel is perfect, especially if you have kids Train and tram stations are next to the hotel The zoo is in front of the hotel and you have restaurant near it that open until 11pm

We stayed for 2 nights, the second day the cleaning service didn't clean the floor, didn't change the cups and didn't change bed sheets Also one of the rooms didn't have hair dryer Opaque curtains should also be wider

Nice location, close to the city center as well as to the US consulate, which we came to visit. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, he literally saved us by printing out some documents we needed for our visa interview, as we arrived late and all the print centers in Frankfurt were already closed. The room itself was nice. The bed was comfortable and there was a cot for the baby.

I only wish there were full-size curtains on the window, to prevent the street light from penetrating the room.
