The location was excellent for me, in a quiet street, but close enough to the shops, cathedral, Rhein etc. The themed rooms are a bonus and different to a standard hotel room. There was no air conditioning but I was offered a fan, so all good. Really helpful staff, who provided info about places to go etc, and a late night stop to get water from the coffee shop just as they were closing. Great experience all round.

Addition of air conditioning might be good, but I don't think it's necessary.

Location was great, all the facilities we as we would expect so no real complaints. Al bit mention to all of the reception staff who were all lovely.

The drains smelt and the cleaner woke us early every morning walking io and down the stairs and loudly going in and out of the cupboard by the room. I know it can’t be helped but maybe just start the clean a bit later so it doesn’t wake people?

I realised if you booked direct you could select which room you wanted The location is perfect - 10 mins from Cathedral/main station and close to a strip of bars

The coridoors are tiled and front door very loud buzzer when other guests come in and it slams Could be handy to have a mini fridge in the room

Excellent location. Not too far from Cologne Hbf. Plenty places to eat and drink nearby, yet i the quieter part of Freidenstr.

More wardrobe space

It was something different, not your usual type of hotel. Each room has its own unique finish.

At first the toilet shower is exposed so can’t really have privacy, but it is easy enough to get used to.

I really like the concept of the hotel. The receptionists are really nice and welcoming. The room is big and the bed is really comfortable. I can definitely recommend to stay there.

The red colour of the room floor “Heimat” is a bit too bright and intense but that’s just my own taste.

Nice bathroom + nice shower! Good beds! Great price/quality!

The room walls could have used another coat of paint ;) You could hear people in the hallway quite good, talking, walking up/down the stairs

The location of the hotel is great since it's near the cool neighborhood known as Belgisches Viertel. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our bags before check-in time and after check-out as well.

The toilet and shower were open in the bedroom and that was not so comfortable.

The rooms are very nice and uniquely decorated. The Arts theme is well done in each room. The rooms are also good sized. Rooms in the back are quieter.

The lobby is a bit basic. Also, rooms overlooking the street have to deal with smokers outside of the bar below.

I loved the crew. And the room is so nice and funny. I really enjoyed my time there.
