Full Moon Budapest

Room was clean, more than enough for what we needed, with a private bathroom, plenty of space for bags and ideal for 2 nights. The location was great, in a lively spot close to the river, with easy access to everything we wanted to do during our short stay in Budapest. The staff were friendly and allowed us to check-in earlier than scheduled as the room was ready, this was a last minute booking and they managed to accommodate us very well.

There's a nightclub in the same building with the dancefloors in the central patio area and the party finishing at 6am - the property advised us of this, as a guest you actually get free entry to the club which is nice of them and to be fair, the bedroom windows do manage to block the majority of the noise out. Personally we didn't mind the club, and we were only there 2 nights Saturday and Sunday and Sunday the club is closed, however I do think it's worth being aware of this in case you're not comfortable with this situation or you're staying there longer and have the party going on all week.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Full Moon Budapest. The location was amazing, close to the metro station, train station and multiple tram stops. It was surrounded with places to eat and drink, so we had multiple choices without the need to go anywhere further. The staff were very polite and helpful, ready to answer any demand of ours. The room was nice and clean, the bed and pillow were super comfortable, it was a quite room and the heating system was superb considering our period of travel. The district where the Full Moon is located is a great one, and we felt safe even during late night hours. Would highly recommend staying at this hostel.

The hotel was in the center of Budapest. It was all you needed (room and shower). Staff is also quit friendly from the hotel. They wore able to let us know where we can park the car, which is 15 minutes by walk from the hotel.

There is a disco inside the building. The hotel is from second flor, and the disco is downstairs. You could fell the bass vibrating the bed. You should fell other kinds of vibrations in the bed, not from the music when you are in a city break. Also, you could hear in the night how the walls are tearing apart from the bass, when small rocks fall from it.

We had a roadtrip through Budapest and we were late for check in to the hotel, but the reception greeted us with the utmost respect and kindness, and even gave us free breakfast since we needed to have two rooms, etc... I will definitely visit Full Moon again! 🥰👌

We were there on a Saturday night. We arrived around 2 o'clock; the hotel is just adjacent and/or above 2 to 4 nightclubs crammed in the same building...so there was a lot of music. But, it was our fault for arriving on Saturday! I understand 😁

Very cool location. all attractions are within a 5-minute walk. The room for two is comfortable with a beautiful view from the window. The ceiling is high, the windows are large and their architectural quality has been preserved. an interesting hotel in its architectural design. It will be good for young people that there is a disco in the middle. I am in this hotel for the second time. and this time there was no music in the room at all. I recommend the hotel!

there was no hair dryer and shower gel.

The location is perfect, right in front of the bridge that gives access to Margit Island, 20 min walk from the jew neighborhood. And it's very close to Danubio River, where we could have pleasant walks. There's a party almost everyday in the ground floor of the building, but I asked for a quiet room and it works perfectly. The neighborhood is also full of bars and restaurants. There's a turkish restaurant right beside the hotel.

For the price the room was as described. Nothing like the photo but maybe others are. For 1 or 2 night party base in Budapest it's fine. Air con, hot water, clean sheets, simple shower, all good. No frills. If you are coming to Budapest to party as a group then this place could be great (you get free entry wristband from reception to the three floor integrated nightclub with seven dancefloors and pints for 950). In fact you might decide to never leave. But only if binge drinking till obliterated is part of your social culture.

The quality of the 'public' who 'party' at the massive integrated bar/nightclub complex (capacity 300+ for sure) is sort of alluring and revolting at the same time. There are kids passed out and being sick outside on the pavement and by 3am the atmosphere is verging on aggressive. It is definitely not pretty, but it was curious. If you want a good night's sleep, you'll probably want to sue the management in the morning. If you book this place as part of a romantic weekend, don't expect the relationship to last the duration of the trip

Staff was helpful. The location is obviously a bit louder as it is right above a club, but after the first night (as soon as quieter rooms were available) we were offered to change to a better room (also got a free entry to the club 😉). Rooms are pretty and spacious.

The shower in the second room had to be pressed constantly for the water to run. One of the night staff guys was quite rude when we asked for a floor towel for the bathroom (as we hadn't gotten one). The woman in the morning try to help with this however.

The location is perfect. You have everything in a walking distance. Good restaurants near buy. You have Pizza place, Beer place, Doner place and McDonalds There is a CLUB under the hotel, so if you are someone who likes to party - this place is for you. Good value for the money!

The hotel is in a very crowded area and there were noises from police/ambulance cars passing buy.

Great location, good beds and very clean. Helpful staff. The breakfast was worth the small extra cost and was from 7-11am. There is a nightclub downstairs but they give you ear plugs and it didn't really bother me. I also asked for a room as far away from the music bar as possible. Sundays the bar was closed, if you can arrange your visit. Forgot my coat and hostel is willing to send it back to me free of charge!

Make sure staff books you a legitimate taxi so you know what the fare is and can pay by credit card. Didn't happen for me and got surprised when I got to the airport. :-(
