Hotel Suisse

Somewhat of a surprise as I expected a 'hotel' not an apartment with many rooms. Having said that it was very nice. We arrived before the 15:00 check-in to find it closed. Fair enough, check-in was at 3. The very nice and professional receptionist arride precisely at 3. Check-in went smoothly. Our room was clean and comfortable. It suited our needs perfectly - we didn't come to Genoa to spend time in the room. The on-suite bathroom was small but functional. The shower stall was very small, granted I'm a big guy. I chose to shower in the shared bathroom and everything worked out well at the end. Getting to the third floor "hotel" is a challenge with it's minute elevator that only fits two people and a small suitcase. If you have a backpack on you, you better enter the lift in reverse because you won't be able to turn around. All part of the adventure. And, yes, I'd stay there again.

Location is wonderful - on the main street, close to the city center, railway station and bus to the beach. Building is old, but truly beautiful, as well as the hotel itself. The interior design was really great and the room was super cozy. There was shower in the room, as well as common bathroom in the hall. Staff was super nice and helpful at all times! The wifi was working well. Everything was perfect! :)

The staff is super ! So attentive and kind, nice and warm, I thank them once again ! The room is fine, a little cold during the day, but fine and warm in the evenings and nights.Bed is comfy, plenty of extra pillows and blankets, clean and smelling good. The elevator is a plus, slow, old, but reliable. The location is in the heart of everything, easy to walk where you want. The atmosphere is cosy, warm, homie ( the women's hand) ;)

We had seen a lot of big rats on the streets, and not in a few places,but that didn't envolve the hotel, but the city.

I have searched lots of hotels. I can strongly say that, this hotel is the best option due to its convenience. It is also accessible and close to most of the places like shopping centers, real states and Post italiane and ... . In addition the staff are kind and helpful. Moreover, it has a high standard of cleanliness. Without any doubt if I come back to genova, my first and last choice will be suisse hotel. Thank you suisse hotel

Every thing are absolutely ok.

This was for a one night stopover, and met our expectations and needs. About 10 minutes walk from Station Brignole, and 20 minutes from the old port. It's in a building above a busy shopping street, but it was generally quiet and our sleep was not disturbed. Room was small and basic, but met our needs for our one night. We were able to drop our bags off before checkin which we appreciated, and reception were very helpful at meeting our needs and informative as to what to do in Genova.

The location was absolutely perfect. We stayed in room #4 which had a balcony with an amazing view. The staff spoke English and was very helpful. Yes the bathroom was very small and pretty loud when water was in use, but the building is very old with a lot of character so they had to integrate the bathrooms into each room which comes at a cost. Also, we did not have any issues with noise as we used earplugs to sleep. Honestly, for the price, it was a very nice stay.

The hotel is positioned at the center, so that makes it very easy to explore the city center. The room and bathroom were very clean. The Wi-Fi connection was also very good and the staff was very friendly.

The window insulation is not so good, so you could hear noises from the street during the night.

It was honestly amazing. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, the rooms were very clean and had air conditioning. We had our own shower and sink in the room, which was great. The location was also great as everything could easily be reached from there. Will definitely be coming back next time I come to Genoa!

Just 10 min on foot from Genova Brignole station! It was so easy to find a hotel and really center of city! The location is between the station and downtown! So also it was easy to visit other towns too! The staff was nice ! The bathroom is so small but if you compare the price and the location, I cannot complain, for me, that's enough :)

Because of the location, nighttime was not quiet, but in my opinion, okayish. The hotel has some really strict rules that was so confusing and I had some problems, but I contacted booking.com customer service, so eventually, everything was fine!

The staff are amazing. The receptionist was accomodating. They have a collaboration with Coin Store that has an underground parking space. It was a bit difficult to find but SUV’s definitely fit there, if you know how to manuever the steering wheel. The location was perfect for a city girl like me. We were surrounded by shops from left to right. The centro was a walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself is a piece of artwork. It’s on the 3rd floor in a 19th century building that is very well preserved. There are old school elevators, so it’s pretty convenient. The rooms were lovely and comfortable.

I didn’t like the toilet. It was clean and all but being built in the late 1800’s, you can obviously see that the in-room toilets were built later. It felt like a toilet in a ship or something. The shower area was really small. It was difficult to bathe my toddlers in it but I managed because the shower head was detachable and works very well. Despite that, it was still a great stay because I wasn’t really expecting something super fancy from a 19th century beauty. Just genuine antiquities and comfort of the stay and warmth of the people were enough.
