Albergo Caffaro

Everything literally everything was perfect, the room was clean and nice, the location is perfect (it is the center of the city, easy to find, near to the hotel there are a lot of places (the main square, the cathedral etc) and also restaurants, coffee shops etc, easy to go any train station (it takes like 10 minutes by bus, bus stations are also near to the hotel). So basically I just enjoyed every day of staying at this hotel, highly recommended:)

Excellent location in an elegant and safe apartment block! Very friendly and helpful host. The place was very clean, we had the sheets changed every day and we had an AC! The breakfast was more than enough, and the cappuccino was amazing. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure from the shower was good. From the window we could see a little bit of the sea. Thank you, Pino!

The bathroom was not renovated, the bathroom door didn't close, the shower was almost broken and it didn't a shelf for the shampoo. The TV didn't really work. There were no window nets so there mosquitoes at night.

The location is excellent. The staff were kind and helpful they made my stay very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for budget minded travellers who do not need a lot of hoopla.

There is scaffolding in front of my window, it does not block the view or the light. I would have liked a fridge. I made the mistake of booking a single room which meant it was very small. Next time I’ll book a double room, those rooms are much bigger.

The hotel is clean, the bathroom and room where big enough, and is been cleaned everyday during our stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very close to the De Ferrari square, old city and many more. Everything is in walking distance close to the hotel. Around the corner is a bus station, and circa 15min walk to train and metro station.

The internet connection was very poor.

the host was really helpful providing a map and identifying how to get to places, we were located between two train stations and he kindly identified the best way to get back to the one we needed, as well a showing us key places to visit. it was the last night of our honeymoon and we were tired, the bed was clean and comfy and the air conditioning unit ensure we were kept at an ambient temperature.

the bathroom felt a little tired, with the shower head not holding its position but it was clean and had everything we needed,

The hotel has a good location: pretty close to the central historical street and close to the bus stop to go to the train station. The staff is helpful and really nice. There is an elevator in the building, so no worries if you arrive with a lot of luggage. The Wi-Fi connection was decent, I managed to work in the hotel a bit.

The room itself seems to be a bit tired, it might use a bit of redecoration. Nothing too bad, though

very close to the city center, conveniently located for shops (convenience store just opposite) and buses (stop at 50 m), very courteous host, clean, breakfast served in your room, nice sight overlooking the Genoa roofs and yet not expensive.

It’s a large penthouse converted in a B&B, making the most out of the available space; do not expect more than a bed, a bathroom and some basic furniture.

Fantastic location, very close to the old town and main attractions. There are plenty of good restaurants, cafes, markets and pharmacies nearby. Staff was so friendly and helpful, always with a smile in their faces. The place is simple, but very clean, comfortable and well organised.

This was the place with the best value and experience for our last Italian trip! Location was perfect, very central and next to 2 lovely parks with excellent view of the city. The hostel was on the top floor and there is elevator that functions well for heavy luggages. We’ve got corner room with windows all around and beautiful city view from the room, and even the sea view from the bathroom. The room was spacey and there are places around the wall to put small stuff. The host was very informative, reliable, and efficient! We really appreciated this. Breakfast was included and delivered to your room. It was simple but enough.

Nothing. Some savoury option to the breakfast would be perfect :)

Room was very clean. Hotel is located at the heart of the city and everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Outside the hotel was not clean - rubbish bin by the hotel entrance. No very hot water for tea or coffee. Bed was a bit noisy
