Friendliest staff ever!! Everyone was so nice from beginning to end. Hotel is nicely located outside of the tourist area but close enough to walk there and see a different part of Oaxaca. Hotel is really big with green areas and a big pool. We had kids so is was very convenient for us to have the kids playing and running around. They even have a small play ground that my kids enjoyed every day after having breakfast at the hotel buffet. Has free parking which is a plus if you're renting a car. They provided us with a crib for our 1.5 yrs old.

Needs some upgrades, at least in the room we had. Shower doors were old so water was leaking to the outside of the bathroon.

Location is great to move around. Very close to the city center, yet not in the middle of the noisy area. Very easy access to the motorways as well as to many main avenues. The layout of the hotel is beautiful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, so was the bathroom

On arrival, they had marked a different price, which I agreed to pay, since I didn´t have handy my booking quote. The hotel has had better days and as a large property, some deeper maintenance is needed in certain general areas. There seems to be a staff shortage as dirty dishes layed out around the pool for more than 24 hours! TVs are complicated to navigate.

We liked that this hotel has a pool with restaurant and bar service on site. The rooms were spacious and the beds and AC comfortable. The grounds are large with many green spaces and nicely landscaped. Off-street parking was convenient. We had an American breakfast included in our room rate (opens at 7am) which was useful before we checked out early for a early drive back to Mexico City.

Generally this hotel met our expectations according to how it is described however it is an older hotel and could do with some investment in modernising and fixing things up to make it more comfortable. For example, the concrete around the pool is cracked and in need of repair, the gym has minimal equipment and some of it is broken.

We stayed for 4 nights and loved the pool, restaurant and room that we stayed in. Most of the staff were excellent and attentive. The grounds were extremely well kept and real pleasure for walking around during the day and night. We highly recommend staying here with families or even large groups as they have ample space for everyone to enjoy the hotel comfortably.

It was a little expensive and felt a bit impersonal due to the size of the hotel. But we enjoyed our stay regardless.

Misión Los Angeles is close to Oaxaca city centre and has a nice pool.

We booked our stay with breakfast included but we were not told our breakfast was not the standard buffet offered to other customers. So we had a very limited set of breakfast options all based on eggs for our whole stay. One of us has high cholesterol so we had to request an alternative which the restaurant reluctantly complied.

The property needs renovations. The pool ended cleaning, You can tell that the pictures on their site and marketing are maybe from when the hotel first opened as you have to be careful when you walk around because a lot of the walkways aren’t flat because the stones have shifted. The great price makes up for it as it’s the best value based on how close you are to the zocalo. The restaurant food was also good.

The hotel is in a great area with easy access and walking distance to the historic city. There are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance in the opposite area too. We took an upgrade when we arrived as we needed space to work. We had a little casa and to our delight, it had a huge fireplace. Every evening a lovely man came and lit the fire for us which was just a wonderful thing. Bed was really comfortable. The hotel pool is lovely and they leave towels out to help yourself which is a bonus. It is a quiet hotel and we loved it. Value for money too. Breakfast had a good choice and the fruit was delicious. The scrambled eggs were interesting :) We would highly recommend this hotel, the grounds are lovely, infact everything is!

When we arrived at this hotel our immediate impression was it was a little dated. The longer we spent time here, the charm of the hotel grew on us and it felt retro/nostalgic - like we were stepping back into a memory of a family holiday. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The hotel food (pool and room service) was good enough. The big pool with bar/restaurant was great and really felt like we were on vocation... we struggled to leave and ended up ordering room service for dinner. The buffet breakfast was delicious! It had all of our favourite traditional Mexican dishes. Plenty of staff at the hotel who are all friendly and accommodating. I encountered a staff member who came to my room to check I was satisfied with the hotel - a lovely gesture.

It's a little walk from town but given it has everything it might be good for those who really wanting a vacation-type stay. The only minor negative was the soap holder in our bathroom was mouldy, which was a little gross. Other than that, hard to fault this place.

Built originally about 80 years ago it has retained its 2 storey design. There is an an extensive garden with lots of large trees. The swimming pool is enormous. It’s an easy walk to the pedestrianised area of Oaxaca, the Instituto Cultural and also the expat library on Pino Suarez. Staff are very helpful and the restaurant offers excellent food.

My original room in the 200 block was noisy, had no view and was not renovated so I moved rooms to the 500 block, which was much quieter and renovated.

A really well run hotel with plenty of staff. Any problem dealt with immediately. Very clean. Staff very helpful and cheerful.Located 10 minutes walk to centre square but this allows you to see other parts walking in. Special mention to Armando who was especially helpful. Taxi to airport through hotel cheap. Great layout and good Mexican feel. Breakfast included was plentiful.

Pool itself okay but could do with cleaning earlier. Although, it was November and I'm just picking.
