Staff and Location was great. Can't beat the value

Having to park in the hotel next door was an inconvenience because of the grumpy of man who works as security for sure hotel. This guy was rude from the moment he approached, made me feel very unwelcome

Victor and all his staff went the whole way to make us feel welcome and comfortable the whole of our two weeks at the hotel. Great location close to the action but not noisy. Breakfast and free parking at the sister hotel next door. Pool was very small but welcome. Public areas were preserved in the high open ceilinged style of traditional Merida houses. This boutique hotel is a little gem in the centre of a busy city. Any time we needed something it was done fast and willingly. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Merida and return here ourselves.

Would have liked more poolside seating, safe in the room. fridge in the room, upgrade to bathroom shower.

Excellent location in the centre of Merida. The staff was very helpful and kind. The room (in the modern building) was very spacious and clean (the cleaning lady passed every day to clean and tidy up). Very comfortable bed. Great value for money, compared to other similar type hotels in Merida (it is not a luxury hotel it is a simple town hotel and that is my criterion for my rating). Parking also was very convenient (100m from the hotel).

The air-conditioning was not working properly (the temperature was very low and could not be adjusted). The "swimming pool" is super tiny and the water colour was not very appealing, similarly the area around the pool is quite small and not really inviting (I would not choose this hotel if I would want to spend my time around the pool).

The breakfast, although in a restaurant one block away, was good and the waiter was really nice. The pool looks like on the pictures, it offers a nice cool-off during the scorching mid-day heat. Staff is not anything out of the ordinary, but they did their duties and kept us satisfied with the service. The location is only a short walk away from the centrum with most of the shops, markets and restaurants. Big ups for the epic architecture inside the entrance.

The sheets were a little worn, albeit clean. We had to ask for a breakfast coupon every morning instead of just getting them by check-in which would've been more convenient.

Incredible old colonial structure, built perhaps around 1590 to 1650...converted to a ", boutique" hotel. 25 ' tall ceilings! ...antique fantastic floor tile, quite beautiful and booked with 3 Rd party the rate was very favorable. We extended an extra 3 nights. Air conditioning was good, bed king size and bedding very comfortable with nice quality linens. The largest TV we've ever had which was great with Netflix too. Staff are trying to keep up the old building and doing well. Pool, open courtyard. Great neighborhood. Rm 103 had street sounds but so what. Photos have trim color look garish but it's not at all. We loved it all.

Hot water takes forever. Adding instant hot water would be a great addition and flow was not great. But the bathroom was beautiful. The staff have not been trained to provide good service unfortunately. I waited to get a new key for too long. The women wanted to verify but the fact is she was aware we stayed on so s new key could have been given immediately. Parking is 1/2 block down the street. Be are there is the old selection and a much newer building which may not have all the charm I d it scribed. We booked a "supior room".

Place is gorgeous, specially when you arrive at night and see all the nice atmosphere that's created in the outdoor space. We absolutely loved the alberca. Perfect to relax in the morning, while reading a book. Room size and space was also great. And location was perfect to move around the city and enjoy the different things to do and visit. We would love to be back every year :)

Only tiny issue we encountered was that the hot water took ages to warm up (I've read that this happens a lot in other hotels in the area). However, weather was pretty hot, so having a mild shower wasn't too bad at all :) Also we felt that there should be a rule about changing the towels. We didn't need them to be changed everyday, we were happy to reuse them, but every time we came back to the room, we had a new pair. I think there should be made clear, that unless needed, they could be reused just to be more responsible with water?

The property was very conveniently located close to the center and with close parking. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the rooms with nice amenities ..the pool is a little bit close to the rooms but the older king rooms are unique and stylish with high ceilings

The pool was a bit tight on space as some clients came and were but noisy and the bottom Rooms are very close

Room was pretty big & beds were extra comfortable. We choose this bc of the location and we made the best decision, we walked everywhere to lovely bars, coffees, points of interest. They also count with a parking lot which was super useful for me.

The first room I got, water was not working properly. But the staff was very friendly and helpful and they change us to another one, after that everything was great.

Our room (206) was huge, the bed was big and very comfortable and the WiFi worked very well. The hotel is located just a couple of blocks away from the main square and Merida's main attractions. We had breakfast included and it was good even if the same everyday - scrambled eggs, a plate of fruits, pane tostado with jam and butter and coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

The fact that the breakfast was in another hotel and this was a bit run down - if we could have had the breakfast in the same place it would be perfect. The staff was nice apart from one girl but this might be due to the fact that she didn't speak any English and out Spanish wasn't good at all. The room had some small holes on the floor and lime scale in the bathroom appliances. This didn't bother us And didn't stop us enjoying our stay but definitely doesn't give a very good impression.

I loved this place! I originally booked for 3 nights and added on an extra two. I had the king suite as it felt boujee as hell, really high ceilings, beautiful tiled floor, comfy bed. I loved the little pool to cool off, location was on the quieter side but just a few blocks away there was a lovely little square with restaurants and music ect.

Literally nothing, I loved it.
