Hacienda San Miguel Yucatan

The location was great as we loved being outside of Valladolid but not too far and close enough to Chichen Itza without the crowds. We loved the peace and quiet. I loved the staff. They all worked hard to make our stay pleasant. Elena, Daniella, Luis, Imella and others. Even the gentleman who swept the public areas after a big s storm was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well in our rooms.

The peacocks were a bit intrusive at night along with the guinea hens. I didn't mind them too much but my husband was not a fan. I felt like I was staying on a farm. I liked the animals.

The longaniza sausage breakfast was excellent. Very peaceful place to stay. Some small animals walking around. Lots of birds. Pool looked nice but was busy doing other things. Great location. Had issues with rental car and the staff was very helpful and refused my tip for their help. They can increase water pressure upon request. Air Conditioning in room works good.

Mosquitoes but they are all over this part of Mexico not just here. They do a good job keeping them out of room. Need to deal with them when we leave room. Bring repellant.

Beautiful historic Hacienda, nestled amongst lush landscaping and century old trees. Very private, quiet, with slate bottomed swimming pool, and restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Easy 10 minute drive into heart of Valladolid from west side. Great staff. Perfect for couples weekend or group getaway. Chapel on premises. Garden & courtyard facing rooms with outdoor space, or private villas with porch’s.

The hotel is enchanting - set in a tranquil location, surrounded by birdsong with a gorgeous pool and outdoor spaces shaded by trees. Loved the stunning historic buildings, excellent, clean rooms and modern facilities. The staff went out of their way to help us celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday while we were there, including providing a cake and some charming decorations, which she was absolutely delighted with. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Everything! Essentially the service was amazing, the place, we loved the rooms, they had a little chapel, hammocks, and a pool to relax. The bed was extremely comfortable and we didn't have mosquitos at all. The food was great, they even made me chocolate that wasn't on the menu!. When we walk around the place was so quiet and relaxing, we felt that it was super authentic rather than another of those "designer" places. It just felt real and we had the best relaxing chill time there and we were just so happy we didn't want to go.

Because the place had been recently renewed it lacks some additional features that are useful like hooks on the bathroom wall for towels, but those things were so tiny I cannot really remember anything else.

We had the most amazing time at hacienda San Miguel near Valladolid. So peacefull. The hacienda is recently renovated but with all historical details. The yellow color is a beautiful contrast with the original floors and the green of the garden. It reminded me immediately of the town of Izamal, and later we were told it was actually inspired by this town. We were so happy to stay here that we decided to come back at the end of our trip. We got the chance to stay in one The rooms are beautiful and very clean. If you like the privacy, you would love the villa. The breakfast menu is also very good (we tried almost every dish on the menu). Everybody in the hacienda was extremely kind, hardworking and helpfull. They put in great effort to make it a beautiful place to stay. From the people at the deks, to the ladies in the housekeeping and at the breakfast, and the men working in the garden and the land. The hacienda is avbout 10 minutes from Valladolid and very easy to drive there. The town of Uayma is also nearby and has a beautiful church. Also there are a lot of cenotes in the area that are lovely to visit.

Great room. Large in size, clean and modern. Fantastic location. Very private - great for a couple's trip. Easy access from the main road. Lovely farm with several animals. Beautiful pool and friendly staff

No fridge or telephone in the room. It was hard to reach the staff as you had to walk around looking for them. Most of the staff didn't speak English but once you communicated what you would like, they were able to help. Furthermore, the location of the property is quite remote so it would help to have a proper dinner service

If you're looking for a quiet stay, calm and relaxing, then the hacienda is your place. The building itself is very nice and authentic, I would even call it unique. The room was nice, with the little terrace. Staff is extremely accommodating. A plus is the swimming pool.

If you're looking for a stay in the middle of the city with restaurants and bars nearby, then this is not the place to book.

Rooms were extremely clean and bed was comfortable! Water pressure for the shower was excellent. Staff were all friendly and helpful. It was nice to walk around the grounds to see the swimming pool and church. It was also nice and relaxed so you could chat with the other guests. Bonus: wifi was great.

It was a ten minute drive to the city but also close to other sites.

Very helpful office staff. Quiet location with lovely flowering trees. Very comfortable rooms. Definitely a place to remember! Thank you for your hospitality.

We enjoyed the local breakfast it was very nice but could have been a bit more varied if you stay several days. We missed a small minibar and a chair in the room.
