Parkhotel Valkenburg

Breakfast was great, only thing: the live cooking's smell was all over, which was a bit for early mornings The restaurant for dinner was very nice, waiters super friendly, quality of food excellent. I liked the pool (good size) and the sauna.

When the guest above my room walked into his room, my ceiling light was shaking and his steps were extremely loud, almost like he was about to burst through the ceiling. The window in my bathroom didn't close tightly, so it was quite cold in there, as there was no heating in the bathroom as well. When I turned on the heating in the room, it got quite smelly, maybe the carpet? I had to turn it off again

The hotel is very centrally located and is a sophisticated venerable old house. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast were very good.

The shine of past times is peeling off a bit in places. You can see that in fact is always invested in renovation and maintenance. But there is still a lot to do. Especially the swimming pool and the bathrooms could get a renovation or basic cleaning. Our room was also quite noisy.

The comfort and size of the room was good for a basic room which we took. The kettle and coffie/tea were present in the room, what i fibd very important. Breakfast was very tasty. Staff was helpful by inchecking, because computer was not working as it should be. Hotel was very big, in the old- style, with sauna and swimming pool.

Only what I was missing was a dubble bed in the room. Information that we need to make a table reservation for a dinner should be communicate earlier.

The facilities and the staff were amazing a separate table was set up so our large group could all dine together The staff were very helpful and pleasant they also arranged for us to take photos of our supercars outside the hotel we will return I am sure

The only thing missing was an iron and ironing board apart from that we had everything we needed

Great hotel from which to enjoy Valkenburg. Restaurant food was excellent and great value.

The only warning for other guests..... do be early for breakfast. The whole spread was excellent..... but it was shuts down completely within a couple of minutes of 10:00. (Inc coffee machines!)

The most important part is the swimming pool being open from 7am till midnight, that was the main reason for booking at Park hotel. An amazing breakfast had to be picked up from the kitchen due to COVID restrictions Walking to the city was great, the hotel is a couple of 100m from the city center.

The rooms are nicely vintage but still need some renovation. For example, the sink was already yellow from the usage and years, it was not dirty but old.

The bed was big and comfy. The bathroom was spectacular. It had a huge bathtub and a very big shower separately. In the room we had a little empty fridge which was a surprise for us. And the breakfast was delicious.

The door looks like a door in the prison. At the breakfast you can ask a hot breakfast option but only one person from the staff does this and it's very slow.

Its a lovely large old vintage hotel surrounded by greenery and has a great view over the roves of Valkenberg and when the sun hits them in Autumn they turn almost gold! We loved the spa and wellness centre that was a lovely treat to be able to relax for hours there and its available to all guests at no extra charge. The staff were great!

Only the price is very expensive for your stay and what you get. Its a lovely hotel but for that price you would expect the small things to be better, actual milk, better hair dryer, doors that dont rattle in the wind. But overall the stay really was great!

I just loved this place, ❤️ it is huge. Had to spend ages finding my way about. The breakfast/restaurant was just astonishing. With views all over the town. The staff are lovely and as an English speaker with no other languages I was so happy that the girls English were fluent. Top marks for this hotel, as frequent travellers it is nice to have a home from home.

Lovely hotel in very convenient location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Wonderful terrace.

We had booked one of the more expensive rooms with a balcony, but were a bit disappointed at the size of the room, which was exceedingly small and definitely not 4* as the hotel is rated. There was no desk and the bed did not have a bedside table on one side, so my husband had to balance his water, book etc. on the floor in front of the door to the bathroom.
