ibis Utrecht

I had a comfortable stay at Ibis-Utrecht. The room came with plenty of fresh towels and necessary toiletries. The staff were very helpful too. Since I was here for work, I appreciated the fact that the WiFi worked without any glitches. The restaurant is great too. I had my dinner here during my stay, and I really liked the food and the service. I also appreciated the fact that the café stayed open until 10/11 pm, allowing you to get one last coffee/tea before one turns in. Public transportation is easily accessible from the hotel. Moreover, Utrecht Centraal Station is only a 15-20 minute walk from Ibis. The hotel also offers free parking. Overall, my stay was comfortable.

Happy that checkout time was 12pm. The location was great - 1 min from the bus stop and few mins from closest tram stop. Parking fee was charged. The room and bathroom was clean, cozy and comfortable. We had problems in the night with noise coming from other rooms and children running in corridors but the reception staff in the morning was very courteous and accommodating. Would come again!

The hotel´s policy of being silent and quiet in the night could be more stricter. People were loud and we had a long drive ahead. Also the early evening reception staff was bit off in terms of attitude but the girl in the morning was very kind !

It was a nice surprise that we could get good food in the evening at the restaurant, after our long trip to Utrecht. I had been prepared to have to order out for a pizza, but happily discovered that there was not only an un-advertised restaurant at this Ibis Utrecht, but also that the food was fantastic! Compliments to the chef! I also like the proximity to the "Den Hommel" pool. Both the restaurant and discount at the pool were not mentioned on the hotel's homepage. Also, the park "Oog in Al" is close to the hotel.

The room was a little small for two people. I had brought along a small exercise mat for doing a core workout in the room, but wound up not using it due to the small room size. It just felt too cramped. The lighting near the bar could be warmer and less office-like.

Easy check in and fast check out. The rooms are tiny but acceptable because we didn't spend much time in the room except to sleep. It's usually quiet but we were awaken by a drunk person trying to get into our room at 4am. We received a free breakfast by the staff and it was splendid. Very enjoyable food and drinks and plan to purchase it in the future.

Could use a wash cloth in the shower.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the position was very good for bus to and from the Central Station and the old city centre.

I discovered too late that there were light meals available in the evenings and actually went to bed hungry. But I made up for it the next morning! For an English speaking guest it would be good to get an American News Channel but the lack of that did not spoil my stay≥

Kind and helpful staff. Stay met expectations. The walk to the center is a nice one, as it is mostly done along a small river.

Not sure if all Ibis hotels are the same in this regard, but be sure not to fall for their ultra-expensive laundry service. There are cheaper options not very far from the hotel, in case you have a significant amount of clothing in need of a wash.

my room was quite posh and comfortable. the lady of the reception was friendly. we got a quick check out the next day-smooth running. I found the quality of the room, the hotel & service quite impressive for a 3 star hotel.

a warm hot chocolate or something similar would have been great fro breakfast- i think coffee drinkers had good options. but no other drinks with warm milk were really available. It was mostly a cold buffet, with an option of scrambled eggs. for me, it was okay.

The structure is very modern and clean. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large and equipped for people with wheelchair. The staff was very professional. As our room wasn't ready by the time of the check-in, they offered us the parking place for the whole stay.

It's a bit far from the city centre but it can be easily reached with a 30 min walk or 10 min bus ride. Bus stops are right in front of the hotel.

Perfect by Ibis standards. Large room, really comfortable bed, great breakfast with lots of choice. Staff so friendly and helpful. Good housekeeping. Price very reasonable in comparison with other surrounding cities in the holiday period.

The location was out of town, easy to get there by bus (stop right outside the hotel) or tram but too far to walk, so a little inconvenient.

There was roadwork outside for two of the four nights I was there. The noise started at around 22:00 and went on for a couple of hours. Mentioned this to the staff and while I got while they listened they couldn't do anything about it.
