Scandic Asker

Friendly staff and clean hotel. Windows in the bedroom open (at least a little) and you can control the temperature yourself if required. Comprehensive breakfast with everything you could wish for.

Unfortunately I was in a room next to a worker who had set the room phone alarm at 5am and did not wake up (I was jetlagged so 5am did not suit me!) , nor did they hear their secondary alarm. I rang reception several times but no answer. In the end I had to dress and go downstairs only to find the receptionist having just returned from the kitchen (I suggest taking a phone when leaving the desk). Only after she banged on the door did the person wake. The hotel kindly moved me the next night.

We arrived very late, but there was no problem with checking in. The staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. There were many different options at the breakfast buffet, and the food was delicious. The hotel is located very close to the Asker train station, but there was no traffic noise heard at the hotel. We appreciated that there was electric kettle and fridge in the room.

shower kept spilling water out on the ground, location is in a nice quiet suburb how ever being a tourist the trains in Oslo are very expensive into the city (about $6USD). train station is very close though but of an older hotel but still very clean

The breakfast is really good. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and have good facility.

The only weakness is that we booked room for 4 person (2 adult and 2 children above 8 years). But we only got 3 single beds. It is a bit crowed for sleep. The mattress for the sofa bed is very hard too (not comfortable). I think they can improve on this.

Clean hotel. Availability to coffee/tea, water -to include carbonated water, 24 hours a day. Friendly and service-minded staff. Quiet and very comfortable room and bed. Good breakfast.

Very limited viewing on the TV, if don’t understand any of the Scandinavian languages.

good location if you have a car .. metro is also near by .. best is to drive to Oslo or other locations if you are with a family of 4 or 5 as parking at Oslo is max 90 NORK per hour and the metro charges might cost as much ..

they didn’t clean the room one day .. otherwise it was good

Location was perfect for my work. Could walk to office near Asker train station. Breakfast was ok. You never ever, ever, get a proper English bacon and eggs in a Scandinavian hotel!

First day shower took a good 10 mins to deliver hot water. Only day it was a problem. Room 216 if you're interested!

Good breakfast. larger room with separate pull out. perfect location and god parking.

No AC and it was warm in the daytime even in June, only could open a small window

good location.very narrow entrance to car park.sits next to macdonald’s drive through.as usual nice vibe.breakfast was very good.polite helpful staff.also had reasonable pice including breakfast.

Spacious airy rooms, very amiable staff ready to go one dtep further to welcome any special needs (and even fancies).

just a bit inconvenient location with icy road (in March!) not really attended, so rather slippery.
