Scandic Victoria

Great location, 5 mins walk from ferry port and restaurants and 10 mins to train station. The staff were lovely and helpful and the room was a really decent size and quiet. Breakfast was amazing, I am gluten free so this is always a worry but the hotel had a separate station with bread, granola, oats, cereal and crackers and all the other food had allergens labelled. Also had yogurt, fruit, cooked breakfast, cold meats and cheeses, bread, crackers etc.

There was no bath mat in the bathroom which meant the floor got wet, the hairdryer was pretty bad and they had no separate gluten free toaster so could only have bread. Also you only get 1 pillow, there was a spare one but not a spare two so my partner had to use one (could ask reception though I'm sure).

The breakfast was fantastic and much more than I expected. I'm glad there were signs about not being wasteful. The room was great. I liked the fact that water was hot almost instantly. It was warm but not too bad. Having bikes available for use was also appreciated.

We asked for a new fan the first day there (the one in the room wasn't working) and never got one. We took it down to the desk ourselves and the receptionist replaced it promptly. The parking garage was almost impossible to get in and out of.

The breakfast was excellent. The location close to Aker Brygge and city centre was perfect. Very good taxi service to Oslo S for Flytoget train. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was very disappointed that due to an early flight we had to miss breakfast on last day. However a breakfast bag was provided for us to have in our room.

The coffee and tea provided in rooms was very limited and there was no milk, just an empty frig. After using the 2 tea bags supplied they were not replenished.

I have stayed in many hotels in Europe, but rarely have I seen a hotel with such a varied breakfast buffet! A huge range of gluten free, vegan, and more. The hotel itself is in an excellent location, in the middle of the city, within walking distance of the Town Hall, but also the parliament and the large shopping street behind it are practically around the corner. Very nice hotel to stay.

For breakfast, there was a wide array to choose from, as a matter of fact plenty! I had a lot to choose from as a vegan, I very highly recommend it. Location was perfect, very close to attractions, stores, metro and places to eat, very central. Room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious, perfect for me as a lone traveler. Room was cleaned while I spent the day exploring Oslo.

Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Comfortable room, with plenty of space. A good bathroom with an excellent shower. The location of the hotel is brilliant with many restaurants nearby and it is an easy walk to the ferries in the harbour.

Very poor ventilation in the room. We were just above street level so the room was very noisy with the window open. With the window closed, the ventilation was almost non-existent. It was 22-23C in Oslo so the room was very hot.

The location is very central and perfect for sightseeing. Good standard, comfortable hotel. Breakfast is insanely good.

Cleaning could be better as we found empty plastic bottles under our bed and the trash wasn’t taken out. Not the hotel’s fault but the parking next to it is really small and often full so if coming by car, you might have to park somewhere else and walk.

I like the location where I could walk to the sight seeing spots. The breakfast was excellent. There were many options for the travelllers to have a breakfast.

The room size was not spacious. And the door was not well fitted. It was somewhat difficult to open and lock because the lock and the receptor had not enough space.

Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety in a spacious room , location was also very nice, near the harbor and center the room was ok as well

Well, the TV was really little. we got some bikes one day but they were poorly maintained making it hard to ride, but the worker that arranged the bikes for us was very friendly and nice

The location is perfect! It's an easy walk to restaurants and sites. The breakfast was amazing, but it didn't start until 8:00 am which I thought was a little late for travelers. This is a good hotel for the value and location. There was even a parking garage next door if you had a car.

Our first contact receptionist was not too friendly, it gave us a bad first impression. Although the rest of the reception staff was wonderful and answered our questions politely.
