Red Planet Makati Avenue Manila

I like this hotel and it isn't first time I am staying there. Hotel is very simple, but that's a big plus for me. I like it simple. It has just what You need - it's clean, it has big comfortable bed, nice shower, toilet, sink. Price is good because they don't bother You with those never needed breakfast options. Looks modern. Aircon works great. Staff is very accomodating. Location is in the center of all action.

I stayed 7 days and 2 of them there was no water and 3 of them water wasn't hot at all... Aircons are old type (box/window), so they are very noisy. However this is still one of the best value for money hotels.

The nicest, most polite and efficient staff of any hotel I've stayed at in the Phils. For a budget hotel, this was a pleasant surprise. Comfy bed, super clean little room, and the location is amazing. Right near some of the most hip cocktail and chill bars in town. Do note, however, that as a budget place, they don't provide toothbrushes or any of that stuff. Not even water. But you can buy water and snacks downstairs. As a bonus, this means interacting with the front-desk staff, who are just the nicest people in town. I only stayed one night as I was between airBnB rooms...but slept like a baby as it's on a quiet street and the bed is super comfy. They even have an English movie channel. Top marks, Red Planet! I'll definitely stay again in future.

I spent 2 months in this hotel booking each room 1 week at a time. I had 3 rooms during my stay. 1st room had to change after 4 weeks because water starting coming down the wall during a storm and the 2nd room had to switch again because shower floor tiles were loose. However, the staff were extremely efficient and quick solved all of my concerns. Overall the beds in all 3 rooms were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and they looked similar to the descriptions. It is located in what I consider the party district. Plenty of food options within walking distance but the hotel bar is awesome.

WIth the staff and front guard- they are well mannered, polite and ready to be of service.

The bathroom tiles have cracks where water seeps in. Ordinarily,after sometime the tiles get dry but not the water that seeped in in-between the cracks resulting to a stinky odor resembling the odor coming from a clogged and stagnant sewer. This feedback comes with the hope that not all the bathrooms are like room 523. I’ll keep red planet Manila makati branch my top-of-mind hotel for future bookings. However, I will surely request a room other than 523 UNLESS, your good office will do something about those cracked bathroom tiles-ASAP.

Good location, good room, nice view, comfy bed, good shower. Quiet enough to sleep at night. Good aircon. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Drinking water was not provided. Luckily there is a Living Water store just down the street so I was able to get water in a returnable jug (didn't have to throw away any plastic bottles!!). The other big disappointment was the elevators. There are only 2, and one is reserved for quarantine. The worst part is that they haven't programmed the elevator system to stop the quarantine elevator from going to the non-quarantine floors. So when you call an elevator, you will often get the wrong one and there is no easy way to make it go away. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Staff are very friendly, always has a smile whenever i leave / reenter the building. They are also attentive to my needs and accommodating with queries and requests. Room wifi is also good, considering i only paid 1.5k. The lobby smells really good and is quite clean/modern-looking. I requested for a non-smoking room while booking my stay online and that's what i got. Also, since I arrived much later than my Check-in time, they allowed me to extend my Check-out. My room looks the same as their advertisements / online photos--which i appreciate.

The airconditioner is a little noisy, it sounded like there's water that's always trickling down. It made me a little uncomfortable while i was about to sleep. But overall, my stay was great! Superb value for your money.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel we ate at the local shops in the area , we have stayed at Red Planet makati before so it was what we expected with the facilities , the room was clean and tidy the air conditioning kept us cool when we needed to be cool.the double bed was nice and very comfortable and the location of the hotel is ideal being so close to Manila Airport just a short trip away in a taxi

There's no kettle in the room so we missed out on a hot drink it would be handy if we could of had a hot cup.of tea or coffee plus there's no wardrobe in the room to hang our clothes up every room no matter where you go should have a wardrobe in it I think people expect that to be the norm .

I like that one staff there wearing a white shirt whose greetings made me smile from a stressful flight. That's the highlight of the stay and the janitress who gave me a big smile as I checked out of the hotel she was cleaning the room in fronting mine. Its the people that made my stay somehow good enough.

Every hotel should have a signiture scent but this one doesn't smell like something you wann look forward to or feel bad to go. I've been in two Red Planet hotels one in CDO and one in Cebu, both has a signature scent. Even the room doesn't smell like something special. Its just that most of your clients are travellers and even a simple scent makes us feel ease and at home from a frustrating day or a stressful traffic.

Staff were polite and front desk staff was very sweet, she was thorough and kind. The room was just the right size for a single traveler, quiet and clean with lots of nice modern touches. Would be even better had the room comes with mini fridge and coffee/tea maker. But, for the price it's an excellent value and the location is very good.

No mini fridge, no kettle. But, for the price it's an excellent value.

The staff are very welcoming and the facilities are clean. The room looks exactly like the pictures. Location is great. Surrounded by plenty of restaurants, laundry service nearby, and even pharmacy's if any thing is needed. All within 1 block. Plus, the hotel bar has wonderful food. I have even decided to stay 1 extra week at this location.

Some sheets were stained but they're clean. That's the only negative I had.
