Hotel Gdańsk Boutique

Clean rooms, great breakfast buffet with lots of variety for everyone. Reception staff were friendly

On our last day my mum noticed one of her handbags was missing along with some medicine. When raised with management, we were advised they’d look into it and meet us later in the afternoon to discuss, on meeting in the afternoon we were advised it was my mums word against the housekeepers and there was nothing they could do. We were advised to contact the police however, as we were heading straight to the airport this wasn’t an option. The bag wasn’t designer, purchased from a local boutique here in Aberdeen however it was the principal of the matter. The holiday was great, unfortunately this event and the way it was handled put a damper on our stay.

Balcony door was broken, couldn't open it. Despite bringing to attention of the staff, nobody came to fix and stayed unusable for duration of the holiday. Also stains on back of one of the pillows that looked suspiciously like blood...

Really nice place - clean, comfortable, wifi worked, nice bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, i loved the selection and fresh products. And the reception was very polite and welcoming. I would come back exactly to this hotel, if visiting city again.

Its not negative, just if you are big fitness fanatics and expect serious fitness center - it's small and limited. Perfect for daily exercise, to move a bit. If there would be different size weights, actually it would add so much more functionality to this room. But there is water and bathroom to refresh and perfect hot sauna to take after.

Location on river front and marina, very close to the old town. Plenty of restaurants and history around. Hotel parking good with advance reservation. Hotel is a conversion of an old granary with new build accommodation behind (Hotel Yachting). We were in the latter, which was nicely appointed, but with only a tangential view of the water. But for an overnight stay it was fine.

Room numbering is confusing, using the same sequencing between the old and new parts (ie room 411 is in the front part and 429 in the rear building, with different lifts, of course). At age 78 I did not appreciate getting this wrong after a long journey!

Very good location for Old Town but also quiet at night. Good room size but would have been better if we didn't have a camp bed made up in the room (for no apparent reason). Furnishings good, bed very comfortable. Tea and coffee but no milk or creamer. Bar in the new part of the hotel looked very nice but didn't see it open The bath had the shower over it, fine for us but might be difficult if have any mobility problems as bath very deep to climb in!

Comfort of the room and the breakfast were the two winners. The room was lovely, quite big and had that old flare with the timber beams and window shape. The bathroom into bedroom window slider was even quite novel and fun. The breakfast buffet was the best we had Poland. The food variety was fantastic and substantial, served hot and also replenished. Location was good- it was far enough from the main old town that you weren't disturbed by night go-ers outside. The yacht pier out the front also adds a lovely touch to the overall feel of being on the Motlawa. Close enough to the old town (stones throw). The brewery downstairs was great, food was delicious.

Nothing which was the fault of the hotel, but unfortunately the closest bridge into the old town was being renovated and was closed. A make shift bridge was provided a few hundred meters further away. Not a drastic distance but enough to deter us from going into the old town in the evenings after a long day of tourist activities.

Location was perfect, nearby restaurants, bars, museum etc. De Wellness was good! Breakfast was very good and extensive. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. We left very early and got a breakfast box.

No clean drinking glasses after cleaning the room but maybe the cleaning lady forgot it. We had 2 chairs but other rooms had a couch(we'd rather had the room with the couch, though). Parking costs at the hotel are high, but the rented car is because of that close by. During our stay in the weekend, there were maintenance activities at the Wellness so a part was closed :(

It's a good value for money - location is amazing, rooms are nice, fridge is full of nice snacks.

Wouldn't recommend staying in the old building - one building is called Gdansk boutique, another one is yachting or something like that. We had trouble sleeping in the old building. People were making noise just above us and it felt like entire building was shaking when somebody was walking in the room above us. Luckily, with the help of an amazing staff, we managed to switch to another room in another building.

I totally loved my stay in this hotel and made a big mistake booking the second part of my holiday in Sopot. Everything about this hotel was superb. The room was fabulous, nice size, spotless, lovely bath and magnificent view onto the river. The staff were wonderful, extremely obliging and welcoming. The location of the hotel is perfect..right beside the old city and all the boats and activities and restaurants. Gdansk old city oozes charm and this hotel is a perfect base to explore it from. Sincere thanks to Ola, Claudia, kristpher, and Piotr Thank you for minding me so well, I will be back and will be recommending to friends!

This is not a complaint against the hotel...its actually the situation in most European hotels...I'd love a proper double duvet on the bed and not 2 single ones...in all hotels they seem to just use single ones. Apart from that my bed could not have been more comfortable!

Location was splendid. It was a second time we have stayed there, so it was not a surprise. We have chosen the location for the ease of access to the old town. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Hotel's parking was fully booked and we had to park away. Breakfasts got a bit expensive compared to the local restaurants. We have found ceiling fan remote control when leaving, could have been placed next to AC not in the furthest corner of a drawer. As we do not like AC working over night that was a disappointment. Spare fan provided in the room was a hazard to use.
