Casablanca Grand Hotel

Everything was amazing ,, staff was very welcome ,, I called before I come ,, “ asma” was very nice and welcome and prepared what I really want,, the room is luxury ,, the view was nice ,, you can see Almadina road ,, everything was clean .. the food wow ,, we got a diner at the top restaurant was an amazing experience ,, and the breakfast very delicious ,, variety ,,I definitely,, would come again and again ,,

The coffee machine need update .. and the staff were welcome to do that ..

Staff were friendly and most were good in English Breakfast buffet had a lot of options Hotel coffee was Starbucks There was a gym with a kind trainer Room service food was yummy

I made two separate bookings and paid for the second one at the hotel at the start of the second stay, but the hotel concierge kept asking me for proof of payment even if I had already paid with a card (their staff had gone up to our room with the terminal through which I had made my payment). Even on check-out days later they asked me again to make my payment. I showed the credit card receipt and he said it’s not valid! Good thing the kind night manager was there to clear up the misunderstanding and corrected his employee.

Front Office Staff were welcoming and professional ( check in & out) was smooth. Comcerige team were helpful & comfortable to talk too. H.K team are well mannered. Restaurants Services team especially ( Filipino Man & Saudi Girl) were welcoming, helpful with Big smile.

The restaurant caption (Arabic Nationality) was not that well mannered (attitude and frown face) and he feels you you are going to steall o something or make a mess ( always looking to my plate with judge). Some of services ( no smiling, boring attitude & have unpleasant smell as well (Filipino with eyeglasses & South Indian man).

The hotel was nice and clean. The hotel staff was nice apart from the reception staff.

The reception staff saw us and told us the hotel was fully booked. When we said we have seen on booking.com rooms arw available then he was like ok. Then we said we will book directly with you and he doubled the price. So i showed him and then his like no dinner or breakfast. Then we showed the price include half board on booking.com. so we booked on booking.com. They rayher prefer Arabs to book their rooms then foreigners.

honestly, everything! from the reception (mr.Akram checked us in and he was fast and efficient)to the room service. we really felt like we were VIP guests, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful with everything we needed! we couldn’t connect to the wifi and we called the reception for help and the immediately sent a staff member who fixed the problem in minutes.

it’s probably because if the weather outside but the room was kind of cold even though we turned off the AC.

Communication between the staff and overpayment still not returned. It has been more than 3 months. I have sent emails and messages but no response! Family had to pay cash even though it was communicated to the hotel that I will be paying through credit card and guaranteed them in writing. Still, they did not accommodate, and they paid cash. Balance of which is still due to us from the hotel.

the location was perfect , close to mall of Arabia , the main highway and the airport . the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable

-the swimming pool had no life guard on duty -the kids game room was closed the during the whole stay. -the choices for the breakfast buffet are very limited and eggs 😷. the waiters left their post and disappeared after we ordered coffee😳. not what we expect in a 5* hotel. -And lastly , the laundry guy who brought my clothes demanded that I pay upfront with my debt card. and on check-out , I was billed again and waisted 15min convincing the manager that I already paid for the laundry !!!!

We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay. The quality of the room, the design, the amenities offered. How friendly the staff are, at the front desk, at breakfast, when arriving / departing. They were accommodating to all requests and made our stay more than enjoyable. Very few hotels I have stayed in you could say live up to 5 star ratings but this one for sure does.

Nothing not to like - I would recommend to anyone to stay here.

Nice staff - very clean - pleasant stay except for bathroom

5am morning wake up - Cannot reach Bath taps / shower control without standing in bath. Shower rail and curtain fell down Water is mixed by opening hot and cold controls and common tap for water flow to the bath - be carefull don't burn your feet when you start water flow - to take a shower there is a switch to direct water flow to the shower head. - not working - no shower available. Had bath instead - plug went in does not come out - had to leave room with full bath. Lesson learned for future I will check bathrooms on arrival I was leaving shortly after no time to ask staff to fix. Reported at 0545 to front desk when checkout - were very apologetic

I liked the attitude and hosting behavior by the receptionist Mr. Abdulrahman. The location is so close to Airport. Arab mall and easy access to Madinah road and other main roads. I like the room design and the amazing comfy bed.. And I like the loccitane bath set.. They really work in the details.

They didn’t open the window for me to refresh the perfume in the room cuz l’v allergic. They may improve the pastries in the BF.
