Capital Hotel Garni

I recently had a wonderful experience staying at a hotel. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the city, yet still peaceful. The room was spacious, clean, and well-decorated, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The equipment, including fast Wi-Fi, effective air conditioning, made my stay even more enjoyable. However, what really set this hotel apart was the exceptional staff. They were friendly, professional, and always available to answer questions or provide recommendations. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in the city.

i was missing the coffee in room despite the fact its great coffee shops attach to but some times you just not willing to go out of the bed.

Breakfast is good, the pastries reminded me of some we had in Turkey. Those guests who didn't get BB can have breakfast for 8Euro. The hotel and the room are very clean. Everyone is friendly in the hotel. You cannot reach the hotel by car because it is in a pedestrian zone, so you should be careful not to carry a lot of bags. Our room was beautiful and modern. It was not noisy facing the street because there are double windows, when they are closed you can't hear anything. It's a very good location to visit the town and sightseeing. Even if you buy something, you can jump to the hotel, leave your things, and you're back on the street in no time.

Our room was quite dark, we had some light bulbs on the ceiling which could not be switched on, they were there for decoration purposes? Also there is no safe deposit box in the room. Hotel has one elevator and it is very slow. It's a long wait. The toilet door could not be closed in the room. There are stairs to get to the restaurant, and it is on the -1 floor. It is not suitable for people who have difficulty walking.

The Capitol Hotel Garni is situated at an ideal location literally around the corner from the best part of Knez Mihailo street. Next door are some of the best restaurants, bars and cafes in all of Belgrade. Kalamegdan Park, Starbucks, Ferdinand Knedle, Saborna Crkva, Znak Pitanja (oldest pub in Belgrade), King Peter Elementary School (the location of the first basketball game played in Serbia 100 years ago!), and much more is steps away. Although cars cannot pull up directly in front of the hotel because it is in the pedestrian zone, cars can drop you off a mere 30 meters from the hotel entrance on Kralja Petra street. The hotel and the room was clean and comfortable. The front desk team is extremely nice, friendly and knowledgeable, going out of their way to help and support the guests with recommendations and facilitating anything else you need.

Nothing really to complain about. I would probably just recommend them providing multiple keys and eliminate the practice of keeping the key at the front desk. My daughter and I stayed so would have been more convenient to have two keys for the room. Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel for any trip to central Belgrade.

The location is EXCELLENT. It is right in the centre of town and very easy to get anywhere on foot. The hotel staff was very accommodating with my early arrival and let me leave my luggage at the reception before my check-in. They also helped me check my bus information. The room was largely clean and comfortable.

There was a rug under the bed that looked dirty and ugly. It was probably cleaned, but didn't look and feel so. It really wasn't necessary. The hotel should check sink and shower drainage more often to prevent blockages. The water in the shower didn't flow down easily and was a bit of a put off to finish showering standing in a pool.

perfect location, decently priced, clean and tidy, breakfast was OK

coffee was terrible, most likely their machine uses instant coffee... and we have strong reasons to believe the cleaning staff searched our personal belongings... without making a big fuss about this (it's also our fault for leaving things unattended), we recommend to other tourists to keep personal belongings with them when the room is empty!

Location - very near to the main location Kneza Mihaila , Kalemegdan, walking distance to republic square . very calm stay , good staff , especially staff at breakfast area were welcoming :) . I had a request when booking and it was considered :) , personally I did not face any problem .

The elevator was verrryyyyyy slow , I think it needs an upgrade . Breakfast can be improved.

The hotel is at the great location, right around the corner from the main pedestrian street in Belgrade. Rooms are modernly furnished, and it is clean.

We got a room next to a very loud HVAC system behind the building coming from a downstairs restaurant with no view whatsoever, but we booked the room only an hour before arrival so I suppose that was the only one available. Plus, the pillows in our room were extremely uncomfortable and too light.

Great location in city center, but not too loud place. Great ambiance, and very nice variety and quality of breakfast. Staff at breakfast is also very kind.

Cleaning staff entering my room without knocking, and when told to stay away as I was changing, even had rude response before leaving.

Great location in a lovely area of Belgrade, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, but on a quieter side street. Very smart and stylish hotel. Room was pleasant and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast at a reasonable price.

Side entrance to hotel would have allowed anyone to walk in bypassing the reception.
