Hotel Medno

some rooms are spacious..others not so much for 2 people but the price for the rooms was great...for single is fine...staff 5 stars..parking..close to ljubljana..very clean although there is room for improvement...bed mattress comfortable....great value for money...views from front rooms overlooking the main road and mountains...not noisy...if you drive great place..will stay again...

small bathroom but acceptable...in other rooms more spacious...internet weak in my room.almost no signal.(S21+)...in other room OK but still...maybe was temporarily. .

Excellent facilities, room was spacious and clean, and the staff was amazing, extremely accommodating. After hours checkin was simple and efficient, and accomodated all my requests. 1st floor is fully accessible so people with mobility issues shouldn't have any issues. There are stairs only to the 2nd floor. Ample free parking, and markets and stores withing 15 min driving range. View and area is amazing and peaceful with a forest on one side and view of mountains on the other.

The hotel is somewhat off major highways/public transport so travel without a car could be challenging for some, though there are taxi/shuttle options which the hotel can assist with. As it's in the countryside, insects, wasps, bees, etc are plentiful and tend to be drawn to people having breakfast on the terrace.. might be an issue if you have allergies to bites and stings just as a note of caution.

We arrived at night to Liubliana at the train station, we walked for 1000 metres to the Hotel, with a Late check in and the keys were on the desk when we arrived. The personal is amazing and they speak perfect english. The breakfast is very good and included in the price. Though the bedroom was outdated it was perfect to rest. It is in the middle way between Bled Lake and Liubliana. Highly recommended.

I wish it was easier to get there during the night.

The curtains in my bedroom were too short and couldn't cover the entire window glass, so we couldn't sleep as much as we could with the sunlight. There was apparently a blackout but the stripe to pull was broken. They should fix it!

The hotel is in a quiet location (there is a road that runs below the hotel but it didn't bother me as I had the room on the other side) Air conditioning works well, fast wifi, convenient parking 15 minutes by car from the center of Ljubljana There is a nice terrace in the hotel where you can have breakfast with a nice view Friendly and helpful staff

Pillow too soft Unfortunately the minibar in the room was dirty and I didn't use it

I loved the mountains so natural hiking and biking the people were very helpful and friendly I would recommend you add The Mendo Hotel to be a part of your journey in Solvenia Ljubljana

The weather not use to cold of the mountains seasons that surround the country

The staff work were amazing. Isidore at the front desk was amazing. He waited for me and after his shift ended and gave me the key ordered some food for me because the restaurant was closed and made sure to offer me a drink like a Coke or water or something like that This morning at breakfast one of the managers made an omelette with bacon and cheese had for fresh pastries great coffee. The view of the woods in the morning having breakfast as such alongside quality quality service are priceless.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was also good, they can make you some variety of eggs or pizza if you want.

The mini bar fridge was not working so we cannot freeze the soft drinks.

Location was very quiet in the rural area. Next to the hotel was meadow with a good view. It was village but you could walk 10 minutes to the bus stop and in next 15 minutes you could get to the center of Lublana, so location was not so bad. Rest of the things was proper.

The room was dark even when you turn on the light. There were no glasses in the room.

Standard room with all necessary facilities. Clean, with a good location.

we asked for one double bed, but there was big gap between the mattress so we couldn’t actually sleep in a double bed. could be better to have a small fridge in the room.
