Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Ljubljana

We liked the room. It was nice and cleam, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, you are able to pick from many different types of food and beverages - very nice. Very satisfying experience.

Parking fee at the hotel parking lot for 1 night is 15 Euro. But there is a shopping center behind the hotel with a free parking.

From 1-10: my rating is well earned 10! If I could provide a higher rating: I would. The entire hospitality team at Radisson Blu From the front desk to the restaurant servers, to the cleaning lady) all and each one of your employees made our experience beautiful and memorable. I have traveled to many countries, stayed in many hotels/resorts and Radisson Blue has one of the top hospitality qualities I’ve even experienced. I travelled with my family and we experienced the highest quality commodities, service, cleanliness, and hospitality we have ever received in all Slovenia. I recommend Radisson Blu for workers, families, couples, and all types or travel reasons. The location is excellent, there are plenty of activities to take on surrounding the hotel, and the food is exquisite. The breakfast is breathtaking, and the accommodation exceeds expectations. I encourage anyone who visits Slovenia to stay at their location at least for one night... and experience the BEST hospitality I’ve experienced in this beautiful country.

We had quality sleep there! Very good price via booking. The hotel is very close to a commercial area (a lot of shops nearby). The center of the ciry can be reached in 10inutes by car, 30 minutes by bus and 1 hour walking. We travelled by car, so this distance didn't bother us at all. Choose carefully check-in and check-out times because the reception gets very crowded sometimes.

No disposable slippers in the room (received after asking for them) More than half of the outdoor parking lots were in an unpaved area so 15 E/day seemed to much for one of those lots (note that there are public parkings a lot cheaper nearby).

- very good windows, not possible to hear the street - nice and clean room, great design and super huge bathroom sink. - parking on the street or garage - exceptional breakfast, really amazing! - overall good quality for money spent

- toilet did not really flush well, had to flush 3 times just to get rid of the pee… now imagine worse case - shower even though is beautiful and has very good pressure, splashes water right on the floor! Water was everywhere, I am sorry for cleaning ladies. - parking was paid - would be nice to include this for guests for free, parking on the street is cheaper. - climatization was always on even when I turned it off but those are just details. - beds were too soft for me, I always sink in and make “V” shape - i am not a heavy man.

Overall, it is a great hotel, with big rooms, a really comfortable bed, and one of the best breakfast buffets ever (the breakfast was the main reason for choosing it again). The staff was helpful with additional inquires that we had.

As this is not my first time staying in this hotel, I would say that the standard has declined a bit. Some items in the room were not working and they are now charging for water bottles which used to be complimentary. These are really minor things but I noticed since I stayed in the hotel a few times several years ago.

In general we liked our stay. Good rooms, tasty breakfast :)

1. Stuff on reception. We came to the hotel around 6 pm for check in and for some reason there was only one busy with all guests not too tidy looking receptions. One receptionist for 14 floor hotel? Situation was more or less the same with check out. 2 receptionists. 1 is busy selling something to customers and 1 is a newcomer who looked nice in general but not knowing word “please” But when we asked for an extra duvet, it was brought very fast. 2. Lifts. !!! If you will be accommodated on 1-5th floor, better take a walk If you will be accommodated on higher floors, be prepared to wait for lifts for 10 minutes each time (no jokes)

Great rooms, very comfortable beds, great breakfast with excellent selection (although after 4 days it started to look the same)... the dinner at the restaurant on one of the nights was delicious. Staff is fantastic, but so are all Slovenians I've met on the trip... :)

Location is a hit away from the centre - about 5km - although not a problem for me as I like to walk. It was also expected. It's in the area of retail outlets with some choice of restaurants. The bigger issue was a subpar maid service. On one of the days even rubbish was left in

Everything was great. Room was good, bathroom good (slippy shower base hoewever) and breakfast was good too :) staff really friendly when spoken to them.

Car park pricey. Considering i arrived at 11.30pm on Thursday and checked out at 8am Saturday, i was charged for 48 hours even though i was in the hotel for less than 33 hours (15 euro per 24 hours. Maybe it should read 15 euro per overnight stay) When my room was refreshed for my 2nd night, bed sheets were not changed (no big issue, i just thought a hotel of this calibre would do that) mini bar not restocked and i was given a towl that looked like it was 50 years old. I handed it to reception and they apologised, hopefully they threw it out. Shower could use some anti slip mats. I slipped a couple of times. Older people could have issues. Also there is a tourist tax so beware of that, as you will have to pay it on check out.

The rooms were spacious and quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's rest. The large windows provided an excellent view of the surroundings, creating a refreshing and uplifting atmosphere. The beds and linens were super comfortable. The bathroom was big and had all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was also very well organised and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Although we were understanding of the extra parking charge, unfortunately, the lift for the underground parking was out of order during our stay, which resulted in us having to park outside. This was quite unexpected as one of our primary requirements while searching for accommodation was indoor parking due to the specific car we had with us.
