Mac Puerto Marina Benalmádena

We have stayed many times at Mac Puerto Marina and each time the service, staff, cleanliness ,food etc are getting better and better. After nearly 3 years away due to Coronavirus it was lovely to be greeted by the happy familiar faces we knew and to get to know the new general manager ,Nicolas who was charming to all his guests. Even though all the staff wore face masks you could sense their smiles through their eyes!! So close to the lovely Marina and boutique shops and of course that lovely beach practically adjacent to the hotel. Our morning walks were mainly on the lovely wide flat promenade along La Carihuela towards Torremolinos. Certainly our "HAPPY "place. Cannot wait to return. Thank you.

Location provides useful access to a good number of local landmarks and things to do. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. - from reception to room maids, from dining staff to bar and pool attendants. Modern spa facilities for hotel guests.

Friendly staffs, clean and comfortable

Welcoming and warm reception on arrival. Reception staff are really helpful. Parking on street may be possible outside hotel. Pubic areas have a lovely atmoshere with comfy furnishings. Room good size with 2 comfy chairs. Restaurant very comfy and staff couldn't be more helpful. Varied menu with both hot and cold food. Bar staff all fab, not fair to name only one 😉. Lovely Birthday suprise, thank you.

Matress was a little uncomfortable as appeared to 'sag' in the middle and kept sliding off the base. No fresh orange juice at breakfast

Breakfast buffet was brilliant. Room was clean and tidy, view was fine were we are, we still have the view of the mountains. Bathroom was clean and provided basic toiletries and hair dryer. Domestic staff were doing a great job keeping it clean. Spa was excellent, enjoyed the serenity and ambiance. Treatments are quite a cost but worth it. Spa Staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception was very welcoming especially during check in. Pool area was kept well and safe. Thank you for the hotel over all hospitality.

We requested for a double bed, we had a twin joined together and kept separating. Needs to be reviewed by management.

Had a really relaxing stay here. Everything was really clean, the rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard. Once the entertainment stopped around 11pm it was always very quiet, no street noise etc. The pool area was fantastic, comfortable loungers and plenty of them, nice bar/snack shop and very relaxed atmosphere. I got a massage in the spa and it was excellent. Breakfast was good, lots of choice though maybe not the best breakfast I've ever had. Couldn't beat the location, everything was literally on our doorstep, we never had to walk more than 5 minutes for anything and we could see the sea from the hotel

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice but wouldn't write home about it. Our aircon wasn't great. It was better with the fan on with it but this was a little noisy. It didn't bother us too much but if it had been hotter I think it would have

Very good breakfast with choices suitable for most tastes. The pool area is a good meeting place for groups and is welcoming. Bar staff in the pool and the hotel bar were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

There was a problem with mosquitos in the restaurant but more so in the hotel bar in the evening where there were many of them. Entertainment is a big thing for hotels like this, however, it was not to my liking so we didn't bother after listening the first evening.

BREAKFAST HAD A GOOD VARIETY SOME OFF THE STAFF WHERE PLEASENT DINNER WAS ALRIGHT IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO MY FRIENDS ALSO THE HOTEL WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HAVE A CELEBRATION FOR SAINT VALENTINE DAY ESPECIALLY FOR DINNER THAT NIGHT

I HAVE STAYED IN THIS HOTEL BEFORE AS I AM OLDER THE SAFE WAS TO LOW TO THE FLOOR THEY SHOULD HAVE SHOWERS RATHER THAN BATHS AS I WAS UNABLE TO GET IN OUR OUT OF THE BATH HAVE SLEPT IN BETTER BEDS THE MATTERESS KEPT MOVING

Fantastic location excellent facilities lovely rooms. The pool area is very nice and the breakfast and food was exceptionally good. Within the room there is a mini bar which is free of charge and there was also a kettle tea coffee and water.

Beds with little uncomfortable the bar restaurant was a little expensive too but it is right on the marina so you have to expect that otherwise an exceptionally nice hotel. The shower is within the bath and it's a little awkward to get into and dated.

Really great breakfast choice. Very friendly staff. Good Service. Clean. Really recommend this hotel, stayed twice now and would return. Can't comment on the evening buffet as we did not use it.

Occasionally the pool snack bar was full at lunchtime and unable to seat people. Some guests insist on placing their towels on the sunbeds early and then going for breakfast despite hotel signage!!
