Hotel Yaramar - Adults Recommended

Lots of choice for breakfast and dinner, omlettes etc cooked to order. Perfect location for sunbeds by the sea, and 1/2 price if staying in hotel. Nice beach bar with lovely staff.

I am diabetic and they have area with special items for people with dietry requirements. There was no reduced sugar jam or marmalade. We were there 5 days and by the time we left we knew where things were. The dining room manageress was helpful but the other staff were run off their feet and tried not to make eye contact if you looked like you needed help. Normal questions like is the orange juice sweetened were answered I dont know

We didn't eat in the hotel as we prefer eating in local Spanish restaurants. Also, we have friends living in Fuengirola and met with them as part of our holiday. Yarama is well situated being on the Promenade, across the road to the beach and also far enough away from the middle of town to be quiet and easy going.

The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned perfectly. Staff are extremely helpful the food was excellent a really good selection

It is aimed at the over 80s! We stayed 6 years ago when it was a lot more lively with the disco open which the younger people loved i am 59 ! - very disappointed the bar closes at 11.30 and everyone just goes! On a Saturday night it would have been good to have a later night. Also the pool bar closed an hour early with people just sat outside!

As we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a very helpful and friendly receptionist and then the porter took our bags to the room which was very helpful after our journey Our room had amazing Seaview and was very clean and comfortable with plenty of nice soft pillows on our bed also a large shower and a added bonus with English tv stations the hotel had plenty of entertainment each night for those who wanted it and a separate little quieter bar too we did not spend much time around the pool as we both love the beach and the beach restaurant the whole place was just perfect So we will definitely be going back there again

Excellent hotel in superb location beachfront. All staff very helpful, bars, restaurants and other services all 1st class. Cannot fault this hotel at all for what our holiday cost. There was entertainment every night that also includes twice a day 2 hour long happy hour on drinks. The pool had plenty of sun beds available and a poolside bar serving lovely food and low prices. Will definitely return to this hotel. Spoke to many other guests who had been many times before and loved the place.

I cannot really say there is a dislike but the rooms are a bit tired in the way of decoration, but considering most businesses failed or are struggling post Covid this is not a real problem.

Everything from first booking to departure was faultless. From the reception staff to the lovely lady cleaning the room - they could not have been more helpful and pleasant. The views from our balcony were spectacular and the breakfast was first class with a wide ranging choice. Despite such high numbers the dining room was not noisy and felt spacious.

The coffee machine had a lot of choice but maybe some sweeter drinks made even plain coffee taste a little sweet. On our next visit we would choose a lower floor as we like to use stairs and obviously that´s a challenge if you are on a higher floor. We asked for a higher floor without thinking about this and so we were on level 12. The lifts though, are space age, swift, almost silent and very impressive. You don´t feel claustrophic as they are glass bubbles. Extremely impressive!!

staff are extremely friendly and polite. location is perfect and the hotel provides something for all. we did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food but on previous visits, we were more than well catered for.

the lifts are a bit slow and perhaps need updating and the room was looking a little tired. we have been visiting the hotel for a number of years.

We arrived early and even though our room was not ready, they offered to call us when it was and stored our luggage securely for us. The staff were all really friendly. When we got our room, it was clean and comfortable with amazing views. Breakfast at this hotel is excellent, the variety, the freshness and the service are all exceptional. It was our first time staying and we've already booked to come back again!

There was nothing we didn't like! It was a fantastic stay. My only comment would be to perhaps take the room number of the guests coming in to breakfast. On one day, there were two couples who arrived. One couple actually advised they were not guests and would like to book which they did, the other couple did not...it's a shame that there are some dishonest people out there that will take advantage and it's unfair that the hotel lose out because of it.

the accommodation was very pleasant as were many of the hotel staff. We had a room overlooking the pool which was very nice

not keen on buffet food as it was not always as hot as i like. Also did not enjoy the fact that i later discovered I had been charged twice for my stay. I had booked and paid through Booking .com but my credit card retained by the hotel also charged for my stay. Unravelling this has been a nuisance. Am yet to be satisfied that all has been rectified. Immediate response of hotel when contacted could have been better

Lovely hotel, right on the beach with fantastic views from both sides of the hotel, overlooking the seafront and pool area. The beds in the rooms are VERY comfortable, and lovely to have AC available to help you sleep at night. Breakfast and dinner buffet selection was varied to suit all guests however food was a little bland. Staff from the bar, reception desk and housekeeping were very helpful and friendly. There are many lounges, bars and plenty of tables in the restaurant and beds/umbrellas around the pool area, so no rush or stress to find a spot to sit. The entertainment staff were wonderful, and made every effort to include all guests in games and events during the day by the pool and in the evenings. Special mention to our lovely waiter Luis in the restaurant, he was a sweetheart to us and thanks also to the staff at hotel reception who arranged additional accommodation for an extra night.

The public areas in the hotel are well maintained and spotless, however the bedrooms are a little dated in parts, though some had more modern fixtures and fittings. Finding a deluxe room with a old stepover type bath with shower curtain instead of a walkin shower isnt what you expect for the higher than norm nightly rate in the hotel. Some cracks and broken fixtures also take away from the rooms. As mentioned, food in restaurant quite bland. Prices for drinks in pool and restaurant bar were expensive. Cocktails were €8 and seems to be all fruit juice and mixes rather than having much alcohol. Better cocktails available elsewhere.
