Helpful friendly staff, loads of choice at meal times, we stayed at a junior suite it was spotless and housekeeping were in every day

No shuttle bus from main gate up heartattack hill to hotel polynesia as season was over...I think a half hourly/hourly bus up and down would be a great addition.

I liked that the beach club water park is exclusive to the park guests and included in the all inclusive price, not sure if it is with other packages, you can also eat and use the bar with an all inclusive band. Good amount of facilities for all the family and open at different times of the day to keep the young ones amused throughout the day. Plenty of activities staff and plenty of activities throughout the day for them to join in with. The spa was included with our stay again not sure if it is with the other packages. Plenty of food for the set meal times but we went off season so there wasn't an abundance of choice, still plenty of choice even off season.

You can't use the food facilities at the other hotels even with an all inclusive band, not sure why it makes a difference, or the spa. You cannot use the all inclusive after your check out time of 2 pm unless you pay.

It's one of the most impressive and high valued resort I've ever stayed. The place is gigantic spread across 7 floors out of which 5 are rooms and 3 floors used for reception, restaurants, bars, children activities, spa, sauna, beauty treatments, cinema, and many many more. It's like a huge, super luxury Palace that we couldn't even explore in 5 days and continued to surprise us every day. The interior decoration is eye popping. There's a huge interior lake on floor -2. There are numerous waterfalls and fountains all over the other floors that are matched with huge chunky wooden pillars and countless glass lifts rising from all corners of the floors. It's so easy to get lost in this dreamworld of perfection, superior interior and opulance that you feel that you've arrived at another dimension. Thank you Polynesia for making our special occasion extra special.

2 smaller points though. The description says beachfront. This resort is far away from beach. In fact the resort is on top of a hill. There's a road and railway line one needs to cross to go to sea shore, that too its rocky seas, not beach. Another point is the nearby access to water park and many restaurants are closed. So basically if you are visiting not in summer then your choices are limited. This should be mentioned.

The hotel look a dream, the pool is large and it's position puts it in the sun all day, making the water warm. Lots of loungers and umbrellas. We had the all inclusive package and we had access to food and drink all day . The all inclusive also provided free access to the beach club which was great. The little bus to take us up and down the hill was very convenient. Free parking was available around the hotel. The kids entertainment options were plenty (playroom, mini disco, kids club). All the staff were very nice and any requests we made were met. The rooms are spacious and come with a little kitchenette and a nice size terrace.

The hotel in general was nicely decorated, with plenty of things for our 1 year old to get excited about (although he does love animals) and there were many hidden away in the lobby. Hotel was small compared to the other two hotels on the complex, but that made it more intimate and less busy. Room decor was a little dated, but the room was massive, with a big balcony. Food was good in the main buffet, and themed nights were delivered well.

The only thing you could get at the snack bar (only place to eat if you didnt want to leave the aqua park to go back to the hotel) was pizza, burgers, nuggets, chips or a garden salad. This was okay for a few meals but not for every lunch of our week stay.

We are a young couple, without children. There were many families and children on site, which may bother some people like us (without children). But it is important to be clear that we went during high season, during the school vacations. However, for us, the stay was fantastic. All the staff are amazing, from the entertainers to the people who cleaned the rooms. The food was plentiful and catered to all tastes (maybe not so much for vegans, but I can't say for sure). We stayed at Riwo. It is a little far from the park, but there is a free bus that takes you there. The park is beautiful, huge, but the tip is to go early because it gets very crowded and there may be no space. We went to the park only once, because it was too crowded, and in the end of the day our hotel was more fun and lively. The place is generally very clean. Especially if you consider that it was full of children, small children. There were always people cleaning, picking up trash. The lifeguard was always attentive. Variety of drinks. Definitely, we have nothing to complain about, just maybe having to leave.

Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, great staff

Remote location, food basic, drinks very basic, boring. Little niggles like shower not working, towels not replaced, samey food. Poor cheap coffee, juice, cocktails. Heated pool chargeable.

The room was very clean, well made and the breakfast was excellent. Staffs were extremely helpful and supportive. Excellent value for money

The location was a bit off the main town which meant you have to take a cab every time you wish to go out

the views, all inclusive facilities, how child orientated it is, the room and facilities in the room, the waterpark area, the good selection of foods, the friendly staff.

the outside bar area was dirty some times. i witnessed two individuals smoking illegal substances at the hotel.

The Polynesian Hotel was superb in every way

Location.. Your a bit out of it..nowhere to walk to but it was winter and the hotel was excellent
