NH Collection Madrid Paseo del Prado

Great location very easy and close access to all Madrids best places. We didn't like our first room but staff provided us with quite affordable upgrade to a junior suite.

The rooms themselves are quite small and the first room we had was right between elevator and staircases and was quite noisy. The bed had been stationed in such a manner that dyeing night a small strip of light from the hallways has been pointing directly into your face from under the door.

The location is amazing and we had amazing views of the city. The included breakfast is one of the best spreads we've ever had. The food was amazing and so many choices. The staff at breakfast really go out of their way to make your special requests and they make an amazing cappucino.

The bathroom is very tight getting out of the shower. The hotel is very noisy you could hear everything in the hallway and down below. But you also are in a great location.

Very friendly and attentive staff. We never had to wait for check-in or check-out and they always greeted us with a big smile. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fantastic, a lot of options. On the last day we had to leave early and they even have a mini version of the breakfast buffet to cover you.

We did not book a room with a view so our room did not have much daylight. But since the location is very close to the Parque del Buen Retiro, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room.

Good location. Easy to walk to any major tourist places. Room is large, and very clean. Shower is wonderful. The hotel staffs are very courteous and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. We forgot to take the “do not disturb” sign when we left in the morning. We took it off, left again for dinner. Didn’t think we would get a clean room when we returned but we did! The cleaning staffs must have stayed late to clean our room. Thank you! very much appreciated their efforts.

The location was great and the rooms more than adequate for what we needed. The main purpose of our trip was to visit the Prado, and the location of this hotel was perfect for it.

The room had minimal natural light, because of the windows looking into an inner courtyard. It wasn't a big problem, since we spent most of our day out and about.

This hotel is in a great location near the Prado museum and facing the Neptune fountain. Our room had a spectacular view of the fountain and surrounding neighborhood. The room is large and very comfortable. Free bottled water was provided and replaced as necessary.

Hotel has two elevators but not next to each other. The wait could be long for the elevator. The room included a hot tub that was nice but made getting in and out of the shower perilous. The staff appeared to talk more to each other at the front desk than to the guests.

-Amazing location, a 15-20-min walk from every major street in Madrid -Nice interior design -The people working there are kind, polite, and professional. I recently started learning Spanish, and the hotel staff helped me with the correct pronunciation of some words and readily answered questions related to the Spanish language! Special thanks to the staff of the Suite & Tea Zone for explaining to me the meaning of "por la patilla" -My room (can't say if all rooms are like that) was comfortable. -Fast internet -Nice and aromatic tea varieties served in the Suite & Tea area

-I wouldn't call it a minus for me (at least for this specific trip), but if you want a nice view from your room's window, make sure to book a room that has a view (which, I assume, will cost more). Otherwise, you can get a room with an inner yard view, which means you will see the inner side of the building out of your window-no streets, no sky. Because of that, the room can be quite dark during the day. -Breakfast could have been better.

Room a bit small but spotlessly clean, well-equipped and everything works. Great location. Very reasonable prices. Polite, professional & well-informed staff (Laura at Customer Service desk, in particular). Generally a pleasure.

Room temperature a little warm for my taste, but AC works well.

Excellent location, very attentive bell captain (the young man brought us a glass of Cava while I checked in, took our bags to our room and provided an overview of our room features... I haven't had this kind of attention in many years, certainly not for a room booked via a "discount" site, and during high tourist season). This was the afternoon of August 13, 2022; I did not catch his name but whoever he was (on that day and time), he made the stay, short as it was. Excellence!

The hotel staff upon check in was extremely warm, helpful and provided answers to all my questions. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of everything, you're minutes away from all the main sites, museums, stores and it's all walkable. Right across the hotel there's a VIPs, Starbucks and Taxi station that was real convenient. The cleanliness of the hotel, their staff and all around experience was definitely more than worth it and it was one of the highlights of my trip. I had a view of the main street and could see La Fuente de Neptuno and all the Christmas decor along the street. I could go on and on about my experience...for anyone reading, it's totally worth it and your literally across the street from a luxury hotel with the same perks and convenience for a fraction of the price.
