SmartRental Madrid Atocha

The location was perfect for us - an easy walk to train station, parks and art gallery. We discovered great shops and restaurants nearby. Check in was easy using lock box codes. The apartment was very spacious, clean and tidy with comfy beds. We only stayed 1 night but would have been more than happy to stay longer here if we had realised earlier how much Madrid had to offer.

That we had only decided to stay one night in Madrid - we should have stayed here longer! We really enjoyed the short time we spent here but spent very little time in the apartment as we were out exploring most of the time!

Plenty of space, comfy, fully furnished, clean and tidy, very centric location

The check in process was a hassle: we got instructions to make the process easier a couple of days earlier, which we followed, and were told everything was ready to go and on the day of the arrival we would be getting an access code and some instructions; however, by the day and time of arrival, we had no code and no instructions, we had to wait outside for a bit while we tried to contact the front desk, which was hard since they were neither replying to messages nor picking the phone; once we contacted them, the information was unclear and took some time to figure out what to do. Besides, we were not the only group waiting outside so I don’t believe this is an isolated event.

I recently stayed at Smartrental Atocha during my visit to Madrid and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location of the property couldn't be more perfect - just a few minutes' walk from the Atocha train station and within easy reach of all the major attractions. The apartment itself was beautifully designed and furnished, with a modern and stylish aesthetic. It was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasure to come back to after a long day of exploring the city. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The amenities provided were top-notch, including a fully-equipped kitchenette, a spacious living area, and a sleek bathroom. The complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, enabling me to stay connected throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my stay at Smartrental Atocha was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They were always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations, making me feel well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Smartrental Atocha for anyone looking for a fantastic accommodation option in Madrid. It offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and style, making it an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers. I would happily stay here again on my next

The location is absolute top. The city center is very near. Metro train, nice markets, bars and restaurants around. The kitchen was perfect, only the washing machine was broken. Big apartment It was clean! For this price, its nice choice, in my opinion. Dont worry about the deposit, they will return it, if you dont smoke :)

The washing machine didnt work,it was a big problem for us, because we had a clothes for 3 days and we stay. One of the reception guys tried to blame us for the washing machine not working, this got me very angry. But at all, im happy that they rerurned the deposit.

Great location, just in a centre of Madrid, approx 10 min walking distance from main attractions and restaurants. Good communication with the host - they responded promptly to our messages. There were provided plenty of towels and toiletries for our stay.

The AC in one of the bedroom wasn't cold enough but fortunately the weather wasn't too hot outside. Last night the neighbours came back from the party in the middle of the night and they were loudly noticeable.

The apartment is in a great location walking distance to many places. It was great to go some washing but would be nice if some powder was left to use

noisy neighbours no dishwashing liquid, wash cloth or drying towel so bit difficult to clean up properly Also, the washing machine was great but a pain to have to buy a whole box of powder for one wash. I left the rest hoping to pay it forward to the next guest also the shower drain needs clearing as it backed up and gunk floated out yuk!

The location is very close to the center. The apartment was very clean. You have everything you need in the kitchen: vine glasses :), cutlery, plates, iron, a small set for washing dishes. We didn't miss anything. The girl from SmartRental agency was very kind and helped us with the code. The photos are from the leaving day.

We arrived at the flat at 15:00 and no one answer on the Booking chat. We went to the agency location (1.3 km) and they helped us with the code and the key. As far as I understood, because they wasn't clear on the motive, the reason was that the cleaning of the apartment wasn't ready and they try to gain some time by not answering on the chat.

The Apartment was perfectly located to get to many desired, tourist attractions, and great food options, all within a 15 minute walk. The space was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable too. Definitely recommend!  It worked great for our family of four.

It was clean, modern, and spacious enough for our family of six. We loved having two bathrooms. Good location.

The only thing we didn't like is that we didn't get to stay there longer! It was our favorite apartment of our time in Spain, and we would absolutely stay again.

Super location for art lovers! Just down the street from the Prado and the Reina Sophia, and the Thyssen Bornemisza art museums.

If you are a tall person the upper loft has a low ceiling height.
