Urban Sea Hotel Atocha 113

Very close to train station, centrally located with easy access to the Prado, Thyssen Museum and Botanical garden park. Outside it was noisy, but when i closed the windows it was very quiet. The room had no character to it but it had a great view enhanced by a beautiful sculpture of Jesus with one hand and a snake, the other on a child. The room had sound proofing by the bed so this will let you do your “bed workout” with no suppressed inhibitions. The staff was all invariably helpful. They did have a garden area. If you go ask for room 501, it willhave the good view.

There was no real closet for the clothes. The coffee machine did not have good coffee.

Location was brilliant, 5 minute walk to the nearest tube, 15 minute walk to Sol. Free tea and coffee in reception.

There was no door to the toilet just a curtain to pull across so if your not extremely comfortable with the person you with could b very awkward.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sea urban Hotel in Madrid, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel. Nestled conveniently close to the Atocha station, the hotel is within easy walking distance, making it an ideal base for travellers like myself who are on the go. Despite only staying for a few hours before catching a night flight, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, which I greatly appreciated. My room, although booked as a single, felt spacious and was perfectly equipped with everything I needed for my brief stay. It's rare to find such thoughtful amenities and comfort in budget accommodations, making the C Urban Hotel stand out in my travels.

There wasn't a single aspect of my stay that I didn't like. From the efficient service to the comfortable room, everything was spot on. It's a hotel I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay in Madrid. Without a doubt, I would choose the sea Urban Hotel again for my future visits.

The Hotel is located very near to the Central Railway Station, Madrid Puerta de Atocha. The location alone gives the hotel guest a great advantage. The Attocha area is very lively 24/7. A great convenience for the travelers from Asia is the availability of subcontinental restaurants offering Indian, Pakistani, Bangladesh food within 1 km of the hotel. The availability of all types of complementary tea & coffee at the reception 24/7 is a plus. Finally a word about all the staff managing the Hotel Reception. They are just superb 24/7. The gentlemen & the lady are extremely polite, helpful and friendly. 5 out of 5 starts for the Reception Team.

The small size of the Room. A bit smaller than what I expected.

Great location, close to subway and 15 mins from walk Plaza Mayor, room and bed was nice, lots of bars and restauarants within walking distance. We arrived early and managed to check in a couple of hours early as the receptionist made some changes and gave us a free room. Roof terrace nice to sit for a coffee or chat. For the price, great value and friendly staff, would stay again.

no toilet door (curtain used instead), which was not the best and view from room was not great. Looked on to a back alley which was not very nice. No facilities really apart from room/toilet.

It was in a great location for us--only a 10-minute minute walk from the train station. We could go across the central area to Palacio Real in about 45 minutes. On the same block you can find a breakfast cafe and a lovely little Turkish restaurant; the more touristy bustling Plaza Santa Ana is a few minutes walk away. There's also a laundromat and supermarket close by. Our room was very clean and spacious, with the most comfortable bed we slept in on our three-week vacation, and we enjoyed the gorgeous rooftop patio. The staff was super friendly and helpful!

Although advertised with a "city view," our room actually looked over a small utility courtyard surrounded by other buildings. On the positive side, as a result of being at the back of the hotel, it was very quiet. Perhaps because we were on the 6th floor, the water pressure in the shower wasn't great, although we managed. The room could use a chair or two--there was space for extra seating!--and there was very little storage, i.e. no shelves or drawers, and a super small closet.

Location! Friendly staff at recption and complimentary coffee/tea at reception (caffee was really good). Ask advise - where to go for breakfast nearby. There is caffee Matilda Caffee Barrio just 100m around the corner offering excellent breakfast with family touch (but may go crowded after 9.00 due to limited seats/tables). Wifi was reasonably good.

Modern but simple basic room however with pretty good quality bed. In case you have noisy people in neighbour room, then it will be translucent from corridor and neighbour rooms. Bathroom/toilet does not have a firm door to close the facility. Slightly overpriced for value.

We got a super nice room for my birthday trip. the view was amazing. the size very good and the bed comfortable. the terrace is beautiful with a fantastic sunset view! Free coffee machine! very friendly staff! quite at night! we really would recommend this place! thank you

just small things, as we were really happy in general: We only got 1 small toilet roll so if you don’t let the cleaner in for 2 days you run out quickly. On Sunday the cleaning lady decided to Hoover the corridor in front of our room in the morning

Breakfast are not here, but they have a bar with drinks. Near hotel are a lot of taverns, restaurants, bars and breakfast cafes. Hotel is very clear, they cleaning every room daily. But i am a fan of carpets and it was not here. Hotel is very near by Atocha station and only 100 meters from Paseo del prado. It's Near by historic center and quartier La Latina. Very good place with terrace.

Hot water in shower was not very hot.
