La Posada del Angel

The place was amazing our room very beautiful.

The Girl in the reception was very arrogant, no smiling no friendly. Unusual of people who do this kind of job. In the last day I was so happy and I told her that I'm going to make the hotel very famous, she didn't say thank you. instead she answer that is not need for that because they are already famous they are booked the whole year, but I can try if I want. When she answered that the first thing that come to my mind was that she might be a daughter or family of the owner of the hotel. The kind of people that doesn't care.

The staff were all so lovely on arrival. They were warm and welcoming, and every interaction reinforced the family run business experience. Breakfast was very authentic Spanish cuisine, with the special omelette being a particular (exquisite) favourite. On the day that we checked out, we were too early for breakfast. After checking with us, what our plans were the night before, the staff prepared a small package of food to tide us over on our way to the airport. For me this is a perfect example of how accommodating everyone at La Posada del Angel is.

I have no complaints about the property - would thoroughly recommend to anyone!

Lovely little quaint hotel, the traditional nature and layout gave it a truly spanish feel and not another tourist processing plant! The staff were happy and friendly, and despite a short wait for the room to be cleaned when we did get in it was clean and well equipped. The small pool facility was excellent - just perfect to cool off in! The self service bar was ideal, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was outstanding. All in all the owners gave you a really welcoming and personal vibe, and made our whole stay enjoyable. Would love to return one day!

Central location in the heart of Ojen with easy access to the central square and eating establishments. Transportation was provided by the hotel to and from the common parking lot.The hotel is interesting architecturally and fits in culturally with the style and feel of the village. The property was fully protected with fire alarms and good security. Our room was comfortable, spacious and suited our needs as tourists in the area. The staff was friendly and courteous and very helpful in ensuring we had a pleasant stay. Breakfasts at the hotel ensured a great start to the day. There were wonderful common areas and a roof-top area for quiet time at the hotel.

We had no concerns about our stay and nothing to object to.

The breakfast was exceptional and the staff was very accommodating. On the last day we had to travel early and they prepared a packed breakfast/lunch (super sweet!). They offered plenty of guidance on what to do in the area and suggested new places for us to visit (it was not our first time in the province) and are very well acquainted with the area! Highly highly recommend and would re-visit la posada!!

Lovely old Posada. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Located right in the heart of Ojen. Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. We found the laminated hiking routes particularly helpful. Some routes from the hotel itself. Several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Having the hotel buggy pick us up on arrival was a nice touch.

Nothing to dislike, but remember this is a Dutch-run hotel and very efficient. No sense of "manana"

Amazing property with every small detail just perfect. Very quiet little village, few steps from beautiful Plaza with cozy atmosphere and movie like scenery in the evening. Owners prepare delicious dinner from time to time for its guests - do not miss! Very good breakfast served in a beautiful patio every morning. Overall - we definitely recommend if you are looking for less touristic and more authentic place to stay!

All was just great, perhaps a more frequent cleaning of the pool, but not a major thing for sure. we enjoyed our time there!

Well prepared and well provided information before and during the stay. Nice, small and cosy feel-like-home hotel. Great dinner, very good breakfast. Helpful, kind staff. We took the best room on top floor, with panoramic view. Our room was spacious and the view through the down-to-floor window was good. Very comfy bed. Very good location (even getting there with you luggage is quite a challenge). The nearby hiking trails is a great value and hotel offers good information for hikers.

For the price we paid for our room we could expect more functional furnishing of the room and the bathroom: - there was a big sofa but no coffee table. When you sit in this sofa, the TV set is behind you. For us, the sofa served for placing our belongings as there was no covenient place to put suitcases, no wardrobe. But there was a useless shelf-vitrine occupying the valuable space of the room. Spacious bathroom misses towel-holders en proximity to the shower cabin. These are all minor things, of course. A travel-experienced interior designer could help easily. Everything else was perfect.

Beautifully quaint and relaxing, amazing friendly helpful owners and staff, very welcoming, gorgeous property, stunning village location, delicious food. A true gem perfect for getting away from the daily hustle and bustle of the city.

There was nothing not to like this place is perfect in every way.

What a pleasant atmosphere! Such a soulfully clean and pleasant place. How pleasant the hosts, the service staff... everything was at the highest level! We will definitely come back again! Breakfast - it was something indescribably delicious! To understand this nice place - you must visit it! Definitely recommend!

Only that we didn't stay another night in this place :)
