Hotel Ciudad de Plasencia

Our visit was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and enthusiastic. Restaurant and food, again, excellent. The man on reception was kind enough to translate the menu into English for us. They had a shop selling local products as well. Quite a few locals came in for drinks or to dine - always good sign. It has a car park - on site It was close to the motorway junction.

There was nothing to fault this hotel at all

Super friendly staff, older but comfortable Hotel located in an industrial area but not noisy and easy to reach from Motorways. Great hot shower after a long drive. Food quite good and they seem to have a very imaginative cook (chef) ! Only the breakfast leaves quite a bit of room for improvement, but breakfasts are not a real priority in Spain generally. Evening dinners are usually taken pretty late...

Hotel position, perfect for travelling from the Algarve to Santander. Good price, comfortable bed, nice room and facilities. Decent parking.

Restaurant a bit stretched as 2 coach loads of tourist in occupation. A bit noisy at times because of this but they did stop talking outside our door when asked!

Five Star Staff....in a fine 3 star hotel. You will be hard pressed to find a hotel of this standard for 1!(the price. The breakfast is also better than some establishments claiming to be 5 * . Alberto is a TRUE GENT The Bar Staff made our stay so enjoyable. would I recommend this place.........you bet I would!.

Lovely big room and bathroom. Very clean . Amazing breakfast . Nice restaurant and bar and outdoor seating area .

A little out of the main center but 10mins or less in car and worth a visit . Internet not working but staff very helpful and said they were trying to sort it out as soon as they could .

The staff were outstanding, helpful and courteous. The restaurant menu was exceptional value for money. The breakfast had everything you need to start the day. The room was very clean and spacious.

The fridge in the room didn’t work. The shower needed a little bit of TLC.

Quirkily placed in middle of industrial estate, but big rooms, really clean, super comfy mattress and great shower. Restaurant on site with perfect menu del dia for €12.50 for 3 courses. Free parking and all facilities needed for road trip stop over from ferry at Santander down to Marbella. Not glamorous, but totally functional for purpose.

Not much to dislike other than obvious scenery

Breakfast good selection, but not that important to me since I eat little at breakfast The location is god for easy access from motorway and approx halfway tween Santander and Algarve. Swimming pool is a plus in high summer. I also like the marble staircase

The rooms are spacious with good bathrooms. But a bit dark with heavy shutters and blinds soon view. But I think this is intentional to keep out the excessive summer heat. It was 41C when I arrived in July 2019. But much less 20C in June 2021.

Good location to sleep while traveling with pool and restaurant. Nice personal.

There were issues with the key and lock, no pool towels and the pool schedule very inconvenient if you check in late.

It is a big hotel with the possibility to have dinner there for a good price, which is good as it is very far from the city centre. The bedrooms are also good and comfortable.

Location is a bit far from the city centre.
