Location is just 10 minutes drive off the A-66, so an ideal stop off point if driving through Spain. The hotel has it's own gated car park to the rear so is secure. The building itself is stunning, an old 17th Century Convent - the photos inside of the restoration are very interesting. Rooms are large, doors with an old fashioned key which I like, the bathrooms very modern and clean. The town itself is a good place to stop, several bars within a short distance of each other and restaurants (I can recommend the Vaca Brava if you're a meat eater). Good wi-fi in the hotel also.

if was situated a few kilometres off the motorway A66 and easy to find. the hotel was a beautiful converted convent right beside the mountains. the man on reception was particularly helpful. We enjoyed a lovely walk along a disused railway line and found a beautiful local restaurant close by called La Cantina. there was a lovely swimming pool, although we didn’t have time to use it. there were plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel even provided a bed and bowls and a toy for our dog. a superb stay and one we will use again on our way to the Santander ferry from Portugal. breakfast was great with plenty of choice.

The only thing was the breakfast, we stayed with our 3 dogs and is we walked them first !before going to breakfast! so went late! nothing left I could eat, not even juice! so I had water and 2 very small pieces of cheese! , and we had prepaid! they were busy! we had stayed before and breakfast was amazing ! we went in 30 mins before the latest you could go! it we would still stay again, dinner the night before had been very good !

Beautiful property with excellent facilities and friendly helpful staff, all in a quiet practically car-free part of town. Secure parking at the rear, parking (including for disabled visitors) right by the front good. Access to all floors by lift and wide stairs. Dog bed (enormous!) , bowls and toy provided . The bedroom was stunning - huge, overlooking the gardens, and en-suite with easy access for disabled people.

The property is outstanding but finding it is a bit of a challenge. Most of the nearby streets are very narrow - but persevere, it’s worth it!

The ambient, location, view all were excellent. Carlos in the reception was exceptionally helpful. All the staffs were excellent and helped to have a nice experience. Highly recommended for staying. Location is also good.

The food tase in the cafeteria was not so good. At least we did not enjoy that much. The breakfast options were good, but nothing exceptional. In a 4-star hotel, things could have been better.

Room very comfortable and the breakfast was good. Catered for our labrador well and there is a good place to walk dogs behind the hotel, an old railway track which has been covered with sand so you can walk/cycle along it.

Having to wait until 20.30 for the restaurant to open is not good after a long day travelling. Only sandwiches are available for room service before that time. 19.30 would be a better opening time. if not for that they would get 10 out of 10.

Lovely hotel in an old monestry. Massive building. very attractive interior. We had half board option at a very reasonable price. Room was big, clean . Bed comfy, clean bathroom. nic pool area. Secure parking at reatr for motorbike. A lovely place to stay. Staff very friendly . Eve meal was ok but nothing special although the dining room was enormous. great brekfast . would stay here again!

Bedroom excellent, as a room with a mountain view was not requested for a one night stay arriving late. The bathroom improvements recently completed are excellent The evening , half board menu meal ,was really very good

Understandably social distancing made breakfast difficult for the staff member and whilst adequate for myself the choices for my wife were limited to fruit and bread and jam. Cereals was limited to one choice/muesili was not available. The only bread for toasting was bread rolls. The coffee was good though! As I say perhaps understandable but somewhat disjointed.

The receptionist, Carlos, was very helpful not only about the hotel but the town and the nearby walks. Dinner was a delight, the best in our 16 days travelling. The sympathetic renovation of the hotel made it a pleasant experience to stay there.

I think the early morning staff were surprised by us turning up at start time for breakfast.

We have stayed here many times before and overall it is a very nice place. Lovely location, pleasant staff and food normally quite good for the price

They have kept the dinner price at €15. It maybe time to increase it a little and improve the quality
