Orange Colom - Seaside Apartments

I liked the location and the view from the apartment. It was wonderful to be able to watch the sun rise over the Mediterranean in the morning and to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. I also found the staff to be exceptionally nice and helpful, especially Antinio.

I thought the kitchenette could have been better equipped, especially considering that the apartment I stayed in can accommodate up to four people. For instance, there's no oven and no stove - just a burner, which I wasn't sure how to use.

Beautiful Peaceful location on the Edge of a cliff. Staff is super friendly! Portocolom is quiet, with beautiful small beaches and some restaurants and small shops. Unigue little fishtown with its pictures small colorful houses. The room was spacious and had a comfortable sofa bed with Netflix etc for the evenings.

Showers have low pressure and don’t really get hot. Bathroom drawers were broken. Lightbulbs were clinically bright.. in the living room etc. Both balcony door we could not lock. ( as for breakins, I notified so I’m sure they look into it)

The host Antonio gave us a very warm welcome with all the tips for Portocolom and the hidden secrets around. Huge shout out to him. Portocolom itself is beautiful and quiet place to stay at. The appartment has a wonderful view over the sea. Morover the appartments are very clean and have a basic interior. The pool is okay and there are many beautiful beaches in 20min carrides. Stores (food) are in walking distance. We would recommend going there!

Altough we do not mind the basic equipment in the kitchen we would loved to have a bigger cooking plate and good coffeemachine. We did not have wifi in the whole appartment, but who needs internet with the wonderful tips of Antonio

The room was comfortable, clean and a great size. The view over the cliffs from the balcony was amazing. We loved having the kitchen in the room to cook and had so much space it felt like a home. The people working and staying were so friendly, especially Antonio at reception who had great tips and recommendations from knowing the area so well. The ladies who clean were also lovely!

The poolside restaurant/bar was closed and it would have been nice to have some drinks or food within the hotel some nights. Because there is no private parking, sometimes finding on street can be difficult which is not the fault of the hotel. The shower was also quite low in water pressure, but they are small complaints in relation to the stay.

We hand Apartment with stunning view on bay entrance with lighthouse. Receptionist very helpful during our check in he told us about area (shops, beaches, restaurants worth visiting). Map of (Felantix region) provided in room very useful for someone like us who like to explore interesting places. I would recommend room 303 or 304 open balcony and terrace. Quiet area, walking distance to restaurants and shoops. No problem to park car close to hotel on public road. Fast Wi-fi. Good place to stay who likes to rest in apartment after whole day on beach or after exploring island attractions. Therefore I would NOT Recommend this place as I would like to go back again and there will be no rooms!! :)

Amenities in bathroom not working properly (shower). Kitchen Ventilation when someone is cooking you can smell it in your kitchen and bathroom. Fortunately there was no many cooks during our stay. Not clear description about rooms and pictures on booking as We found on place there was as well room with very big tarrace. Our room was with balcony. 1x Sunbead would be good on balcony, especially it is open balcony.

Amazing view from our massive balcony … room 302 .. worth the upgrade 100%…. Very clean .. housekeeping twice weekly. it’s a very quiet apartment block but within walking distance to harbour, beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Merce who welcomed us late at night and helped us throughout our stay was always there with a big smile.. thank you …we didn’t want to leave

Nothing… One little suggestion… an extra mirror in the bedroom/ living area preferably a longer one Thank you Orangecolom for a wonderful stay.

When arriving to the property, we were kindly greeted by Antonio, who has taken much time and effort to explain us about the hotel and the area. We were pleasantly surprised about the complimentary upgrade and I had tears in my eyes when we have entered a spacious white, clean, crispy apartment with a gorgeous view to the sea and a lighthouse... I slept near the balcony, keeping the door open to hear the relaxing sounds of waives. The best quality of sleep ever! Waking up to that sound is something magical too... My friend and I did not have a car but could easily access a beautiful beach and local restaurants which were approximately 10 mins by walking. Antonio has provided the best possible, personalised service and we really felt much looked after. He was always there when we had questions or needed some advice. He even took us for kayaking and showed some places around. Thank you once again Antonio for making our holiday so special!

Wish the property was closer to the airport...

The view from the sea view apartment was spectacular! The apartment was clean, well kept and the kitchen perfectly equipped. The bathroom was big and the rain shower was really nice. Although not listed, we asked if we could have a queen bed, not two mattresses pushed together. Our room had a very comfortable queen bed waiting for us on arrival. The Cabanas in the outdoor area looking over the ocean and lighthouse were delightful. Parking is not available on site, but street parking was no problem at all with the tip we got from the staff.

The Apartments are probably due for a full renovation at some point in the next couple of years however the big hitters (table, bed, couch and TV) seemed new and more than we expected for the money paid. Still 10 out 10.

Everything..

When we were here in 2019 for meals in the restaurant we decided to book accommodation in 2020 but this was cancelled because of covid. This current booking was made thinking that the restaurant was still operational but it was not apart from breakfast. This was our only disappointment with Orange Colom, hopefully this may be resolved before we visit again next year.

- Clean; apartment, pool area and communal spaces. - Easy check in/out. We received lots of handy information about the area including recommendations for food/drinks/sights etc. - Very friendly staff; always happy to help. - Great view from terrace and perfect location to explore. - Everything you need to make a simple meal (think pasta, omelette etc.)
