Hotel el Jardín de Eugenia

Jardin de Eugenia is easy to find and is on the main road into town. There are only about four parking spaces but if you drive past, with the hotel on you left, the first turning on your left takes you to the large, free public parking by the bus station. Check in was lovely and the hotel has a unique and nice feel about it. The rooms are individually designed and decorated, but as I am not au fait with the art style I can simply say that ours (Tamarind) had a bare, minimalist look with old, brown furniture. Arty or not,the important things are that the room was clean and comfortable, and the en-suite was smart with a superb shower. There is a lounge downstairs as well as a comfortable outside terrace. Breakfast was very good and you simply choose what you want from the menu and it is brought to you. We had juice, fresh melon, a plate of cheese, tomato toast, eggs and bacon, crusty bread and jam and good coffee. There’s are also croissants and home made cake, but we never had room for those. It was all very good. The bottom line is that this is a very nice hotel with an easy parking option and is only a short stroll into town. We would happily use it again.

Beautifully appointed rooms, lovely furniture and décor. Breakfast was extremely good, very courteous and friendly staff, spotlessly clean and lovely large room. The owner was brilliant about motorcycle parking, which was also secure. Loved being here it was extremely convenient for a return trip to Santander or Bilbao to get the ferry home.

Our room did face the road, it was just a little noisy at night time but tbh it didn't spoil the hotel at all.

Location is 100m from one of the best fish restaurants in Spain. El Sidra......

Beautifully appointed hotel, gorgeous furniture and furnishings, loved the wooden floors. very accommodating to park motorcycles on the property, fantastic breakfast and short walk into the town centre. Breakfast was included in our room rate.

Our twi bedded room faced the road so traffic was noisy as it’s also opposite a road junction, friends stayed in the rear of the hotel and they were completely satisfied.

Nice room with windows on 2 sides so good ventilation (very hot weather). Hotel is in a lovely old building which has been refurbished. Curiously some buildings nearby look abandoned and delapidated. Place to lock bikes out of view of road. Short walk to the centre of the town and a little further to a good swimming beach. Great breakfast served by the very friendly staff.

Not much to criticise. Having open windows lead to a mosquito visitor. Our bikes were locked to a rack out of sight of the road but it would have been better if they could be secured inside a building

Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Easy check in. Location not too far from old town.

It's called a hotel but it's really a guest house (I would guess family-run). A lot of work went into design at some point bt now some things were starting to fade and some broken, though some also fixed without needing to ask.

All in all a good stay. 5 minute walk to town, free parking at the hotel and free parking behind the hotel. Well appointed hotel with nice communal terrace. The owners were very friendly and did a very nice fresh breakfast. Enjoyed our stay without any problems.

The breakfast was lovely.

The hotel's position is a little awkward. On one side it faces on to a busy road. On the other, it faces on to a car park with the river in the background. Our front-facing room had road noise so we asked to move to a back room. The proprietor responded positively and we moved.

The hotel is very nice and cosy, and with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is very convieniently located within Ribasella, just a few hundred metres from the main square, but without receiving any late night noise from bars and concerts. Overall, highly recommendable!

A lovely family run hotel, in a great location with parking. Interesting decor and comfortable room. We had a view of the river from our shower! Breakfast was a delight, fresh orange juice, a great choice of hot and cold offerings, we had the omelet which was delicious; all topped off with good coffee.
