Hotel Villa Rosario II

Very nice hotel with comfortable and spacious room. Beds were huge and very comfortable. There was coffee maker in the room for breakfast coffee and kettle in the lounge area with selection of teas. Huge bathroom with bathtub and shower. View on the Villa Rosario Hotel in front was great (vintage building in the local style). Close to the beach and short walk to the village. Staff was very nice. A lot of parking space in front and in the underground parking. We would stay there again.

Maybe kettle in the room would be a good idea.

Hotel Villa Rosario II, is located in a quiet neighborhood right near the beautiful boardwalk and beach of Ribadesella. Our room was large and comfortable with a refrigerator and coffee maker. We appreciate how they cleaned and refreshed the rooms each day. It is a short and pleasant walk to the main town, which is across the bridge. However, there were several restaurants, a grocery store and other stores nearby the hotel. There is also a very nice laundromat a few blocks away. Parking is available in a covered parking garage or in front for free.

The room was great, very spacious and comfortable. The Bathroom was well stocked and clean. Sadly, the air conditioning only worked sporadically and I would assume that in the height of summer, the room could proved too warm. The location was 1 minute's walk to the beach which was not busy and very nice to walk along. The breakfast was freshly made and offered local cheeses and meats and the staffw ere very attentive and friendly. At 16 euros, people might find that a little high, but it was quite luxuriously prepared and the ingredients locally sourced. It was delicious. The main town was about 10-15 minutes' walk away the there was plenty of places to eat and drink.

Very good location close to the beach. Plenty of parking. Good bathroom. Good, reasonably priced breakfast available at nearby Villa Rosario hotel. Also Michelin starred restaurant for dinner

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room Room a bit dark. Husband found the pillows very uncomfortable No bar or cafe for drinks or snacks.

Perfect stop over while we travelled back to the UK. Beds hard but extremely comfortable. Dog friendly and there was a dog bowl and treats in our room which was a lovely gesture. Location great. This part of Rosario is across the road from the main hotel. Very different style than the hotel, very modern but you have access to the main traditional hotel and that is where they serve breakfast & dinner

Nothing major but would be nice to have clean cups by the reception coffee/tea area. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as they don’t allow dogs in there

The room was in a new block with no aspect to look at. It was therefore a functional place to stop over a night. Perhaps in the original building rooms might be suitable for a romantic stay. The area would support a romantic stopover.

There was no sole to the room and whilst the staff were informative it is not really welcoming to pilgrims walking the Camino

Great stop off place for ferry from Santander. The hotel is clean and comfortable.

Only that the council chose to clean the streets intensively at 7:00am for 1/2 hour, though I would guess this was a one-off - and the hotel manager just shrugged their shoulders when I mentioned it at check-out. Well, I suppose it was beyond their control.

First of all Ribadesella, the place of the hotel, very close to the sea, the parking place in front of the hotel, the nice room. We had no breakfast, but no problem we went for churros as planned in the city at the border of the harbor. It was an absolute great stay. I really would see me coming back. Thumbs up.

The walls were not so thick, but it was not really a problem.

The hotel suited our needs perfectly the beach is just a short stroll away We have stayed here before and would recommend it

To get to the main part where the restaurants are is a good 10 minute walk

It was comfortable and ideally positioned for both the beach and the town. The reception staff were helpful and it was very clean. The garden was good to sit in too.
