Hotel Marina

From the moment we pulled up on our motorbike we were very impressed. The hotel is located directly on the seafront at Roses, very easy to find and next to the main route into the resort. We were able to park our motorbike securely at the Hotel at a reasonable cost. Checking in was easy and the member of staff explained everything very clearly and in detail. The room exceeded our expectations and the partial sea-view was better than expected. Air-conditioning good, room servicing good, rooftop pool and bar area very good and breakfast buffet style and very good. Overall a fantastic hotel right next to the beach and in the centre of the resort with very attentive staff which made our short stay everything we hoped for. Would love to come here again in the future.

The only thing that we did miss in this hotel, but again seems to be standard for hotels in Spain was the lack of a kettle and coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Location is good. Parking, (close to hotel, and secure) is available for additional cost. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Good choice of food at breakfast. An added bonus is the pool and spa area. Whilst the hotel is modern it has maintained authentic Spanish charm.

No where to park to check in. There were several dogs in the restaurant during breakfast each morning and they weren’t all under tables and well behaved. One was even eating food taken from the buffet from guest crockery!

A very comfortable and friendly hotel in a great location with good facilities and super helpful staff! The roof top pool and relax area are a real plus! The beach literally across the road from reception and an easy walk to the main restaurant/bar/shopping areas. We both had a massage by the in-house masseuse which was great! We would return without hesitation.

The breakfast was sufficient, but only average quality. The parking a bit expensive considering it isn't in the same building.

The room was a good size with a large balcony overlooking the beach. It was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and covers very good. There was adequate wardrobe space. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and very fresh. Super little bar too.

The shower was awkward to get in and out of and close the door. A larger bed would have been more comfortable rather than a standard double. No hooks to hang towels or clothes.

We had the top floor of the hotel which was a 3 bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and it was spacious with an enormous balcony overlooking the beach. Plenty of space inside the apartment for two couples. Even though the hotel is on a busy street there was no noise inside the apartment. The breakfast was also pretty good.

Breakfast here was really good, a huge selection of cereals, charcuterie, dairy products, different milks, hot bacon and more. Wonderful fresh breads and patisseries. The staff were so welcoming and relaxed, the room was good too, we could see the sea from our balcony. The location was SUPURB, right on the seafront. Overall, a delight (especially as my husband wasn't too keen on a hotel break, he prefers Air B&B, not now though!!!!) All in all, a lovely mini break, we stayed two nights. The Chinese restaurant just around the corner was excellent too.

Location was excellent, near the centre, the beach and in the old town. We loved the roof terrace and pool -excellent. Very helpful staff The San Miguel beer and outside terrace.

Food quality could be better, the GF rolls were mouldy.

Friendly staff and amazing location

We had the same breakfast for a whole week. Room wasn’t really clean. The gym was very small, outdated and super dusty. And the massage room is anything but relaxing.

Very friendly staff. I wasn’t happy with the room and it was changed instantly with no problem. Breakfast excellent. Lovely swimming pool on roof.

I thought 12 euros a night was quite excessive for my small dog. Normally I’ve paid from 5 euros .. up to 10 maximum. I would have preferred a one off charge at the end of say 15 euros when they had to give the room a good clean.

The location was great! The staff were nice and the fact that they had parking and free breakfast it was wonderful

Our room was nice but there were a lot of items broken in the room. Didnt affect the stay so much but we did notice
