Hotel Montmar

Really cosy room, lovely view of the mountains. Friendly staff who talks to you kindly (in English/Spanish/French/Catalan) and I borrowed fork and bowl from them to eat my own food all the time :) the wifi is very strong, one can work from the hotel with the best view! Very reasonably priced, especially for 1 person. I also like the location, it's nicely 5-7 minutes away from la rambla by foot, and right next to the mercat so you always have affordable food.

There was no desk, but I assembled one out of the bedside tables. The room had no boiler, so no tea or instant noodles, but there is one downstairs, with tea, coffee and you can use for free.

Nice, sunny room with comfortable bed, nice spacious bathroom and shower. Friendly hotel with helpful staff. Great, convenient location near bus station, beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

It would have been nice to have a place to sit outside on the balcony - a small table and chairs. Also would have liked to have a desk, since I needed to do a little work during my stay. Would have liked to have a good lamp for better lighting (instead of just the overhead lights).

The staff was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations of restaurants and things we can do and helped us with informations regarding where we can park. The room was very clean.

There was no refrigerator in the room.

Breakfast was tasty! Fresh fruit, jamon, baguette. The hotel stuff is nice and friendly (i suppose we got an upgrade, but I’m not sure).

Luxury room for the price, very friendly reception. New renovated bathroom, and my room had a balcony! I actually really like the location - you have the supermarket and bakeries right next door and free car parking very close (you'll see where), and it's quiet at night. The best restaurants (not touristy ones) are 2 minutes walk. You'll spend most of the day by the sea so it is nice to walk up the hill a bit - its only 300 metres or so! Hats off to them too for staying open during the whole covid thing - I respect that.

One or two guests with loud voices were put near my room despite hotel being almost empty. I suggest always separating guests as much as possible, just in case somebody makes a noise. But maybe my fault for not requesting this!

The hotel staff was local and super nice. They where super helpful with everything we asked them. We had an issue with the Aircon and they where extremely helpful.

We did had a problem with the Aircon but was sorted. I wish the room had s tinny fridge considering it's a summer location.

The wash hand basin in bathroom did not plug closed. The taps were so low it was hard to fill the glass( jam jar!!!).the glass shower screen washed-out see and easy to walk into...for safety a motif should be stuck on to nake it visible

The room was modern, clean, quiet and well sized. The hotel is situated in the town and really close to a fantastic market. Also walking to the shore did not take long. The bathroom was also very nice. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices and the staff was friendly.

there's nothing we had to complain about.

We would have appreciated a safe and mini fridge in our room.

the furniture is new and the room was very clean. The bathroom was quite big and very nice. I was warm welcomed and Check-In was fast and easy. Staff speaks many languages.
