Hotel Maritim

I said solo traveler which I not strictly true as I was traveling with a friend and we had separate rooms. We both had excellent accommodation, the rooms were well appointed and a delight to be there. The only comment I have here that there was not a chair in the room to sit to put your shoes on. Breakfast was an exceptional buffet, with almost every variety you might want from continental to full blown English breakfast. We did not eat in for lunch or dinner, but I have no doubts that they would be exceptional also.

Nothing except maybe a chair to sit on in the room to sit to put one’s shoes on.

The hotel has a perfect location right on the beach - conveniently across from where loungers and umbrellas are available on the sand (for a fee). The hotel had a good substantial breakfast buffet in the main dining room and a nice comfortable and roomy bar area for afternoon drinks. We highly recommend the hotel’s 1st floor restaurant where we had lunch and dinner once, the food and service was exceptional. It was also convenient to have the town’s free beach parking lot on one side of the hotel. We parked there our whole stay. We would highly recommend also paying for a room with a sea view - the views on the sides of the hotel are of other buildings or of a parking lot. Our sea view meant a birds eye view from our balcony of the whole beach front and harbor, which was endlessly interesting and scenic.

The rooms are all modern and comfortable but the bathroom is not separated from the bedroom at all - no door for the shower, and only a glass partition for the toilet so there is no privacy at all if you’re sharing the room.

The toilet in the room was not properly contained. Only a simple glass door (semi open) separating this important space from the rest of the room. Without going into details I will let you understand the impact. This is clearly not aligned with my comfort and privacy expectations. Sharing with partner has its limits!

We had a single bed in our room as well as a double which made the room full of beds. We'd reserved a superior, delux double room with a double bed. I was assured by reception that our room was as reserved but it wasn't as I expected from the photos on line. Light on balcony wasn't working and didn't get repaired during stay.

The location and facilities were spot on Our room had a sea view and had a balcony The staff were very helpful Breakfast was excellent very varied and high in quality We stayed 5 nights and would have been happy to stay 5 more

If I had to find something it would be that The dinner menu in the restaurant was a bit limited and the same every night, but the content was good , well presented and well cooked

The hotel is directly on the boulevard. The breakfast had everything you could possibly want. It was really perfect with even a chef frying an egg if you wanted it and how you wanted it. The bed was exactly ho we liked it concerning softness. Also the hotel had next to the entrance to parking spots for EV’s with 22kW chargers. (You may have to load the Iberdrola app; do not choose the bullet “do not send mail” since in that case you will not receive the confirmation link.)

The sheets with blankets on the bed were not really warm enough but with the cover as an extra it was okay.

The room was great overlooking the sea!!! Nice to have a table and chairs on the balcony.. The breakfast was Very nice as well with an omelet station.. and fresh made pancakes.. Lots of fruit and yogurts.. pastry and breads!! The bar tenders knew there drinks making excellent cocktails.. The dining room upstairs had a lovely menu and excellent views of the sea.. Lovely decor and lighting.

The hotel is on the 4km beach walk. The breakfast and the restaurant food was very good,lots of choice.A small outdoor pool,nice for a cool down.Dog friendly hotel.Staff are all multilingual.

Parking is street parking and parking behind the hotel and a private parking at ,10 euro per day.The weekend was the only time parking was iffy,but you could use the hotels private parking.

This is the perfect set up if you want to spend a week at the beach. The hotel backs right onto the beach front making it easy for you to hop into your bikini and pop down to the ocean. And when you’re all swimmed out you can come back to the bar for a drink/to hang out by the pool.

We only found out in our last day that there was a nice restaurant on the first floor - would have been great for this to be clearer ahead of time.

Fantastic outstanding tasty restaurant!) it us buffet but i bet you have never seen such a quality menu anywhere))) Location is perfect. Prices are low))) expect the room

Rooms a little bit overpriced. I would like cleaning pay it’s attention to the floor (i cleaned up after check in coz a lot of hair on it). Smell of canalization in the bathroom (there is a window and i recommend to keep it open)
